No. Funimation does not need a kickstarter. AnimEigo on the other hand does because they are a very small company and can't afford to pick up big titles like they used from 15-20 years ago.

If it was guaranteed to work then I would probably fund it. If not then I'd probably teeter totter between yes and no.

I don't do Kickstarters for anyone. The success to failure ratio is too low. The real to scam ratio is even lower. And it's not honestly something I'd imagine seeing FUNi doing or needing to do.

Still, if all options for getting those Movies and DB Boxsets are exhausted, I'd pay the MSRP for a box as I go, but no more than that.
