Well, you can expect Ultimate Mission 3 to be announced, eventually.

Ultimate Mission 2 just got an update, which are usually followed by QR codes that unlock new missions and cards.
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
I've really been enjoying this game, not too far in though. I've played a few story segments -- does anyone have a list of the story arcs in order? Obviously it jumps around a lot, but I can't really seem to find a good overall list to track how far I am.
Other than that, I love it. Definitely one of my favorite DB games ever!

Easiest way to see is when you log in and choose story mode, pick the bottom option. This will bring you to the story mode missions. All the arcs you've unlocked will show, plus the silhouette of a character on an arc not yet unlocked so you can KINDA guess what's next. You're right, it does jump around a lot. Here's what I can confirm:
Dragon Ball Arc
Garlic Jr. / Movie 1
Saiyajin Arc
Tree of Might / Movie 3
Ginyu Force
Lord Slug / Movie 4
Freeza Arc
Cooler / Movie 5
Bardock Story
Android Arc
Future Android Arc / Trunks Special
Android 13 / Movie 7
Cell Arc
Hatchiyack / Plan to Eradicate all Saiyajin
Broli / Movie 10? (Seems like it)
Bojack / Movie 9
I haven't unlocked the next one, but it shows a silhouette of Kaioushin so it's probably the beginning of the Majin Boo Arc.

Yea, I noticed that. Haven't heard anything, yet, though. That's the first thing I thought of when the update was happening, lol.UpFromTheSkies wrote:Ultimate Mission 2 just got an update, which are usually followed by QR codes that unlock new missions and cards.
Not sure what new cards they could squeeze in there as they're right up to the FnF movie with Golden Freeza, SSGSS Goku and Bejita.

They had some bonus missions with the Resurrection "F" content, but the game is now fairly out of date. It only properly covers through JM3 and we're on GDM3, a full 8 missions ahead (and growing by the time UM3 would be announced and released). Even with a couple of updates to splice in a few cards here and there like they did for "F", the bulk of that content's new characters and stuff won't be coming till a sequel.
I guess you could be getting some of GDM3's Super content with the fights against some combination of Beerus, Whis, SSG Goku, or angry Beerus.

Well, being late to the party has some perks .... it's still all new to me! LOL
Game is still super fun, but I've been slowing down with it a lot lately. Not by choice, really, been super busy. Just picked it up for the first time last night and played a bit to grind out Black Star DBs to increase my badge slot again. Still have a TON of cards to go out and get, and still need to finish the "Story" mode, too.
I wonder if there is even going to be a DBH3 now that this other card game was announced? I would assume they're going to focus on that and less on a new Heroes series? Just how I see it.
And I've never been *really* a fan of card games like the one they just announced, just never could get into them. In reality, I collected Pokémon cards as a kid, but never really got into the mechanics of the game until it was released for the GBC many, many years ago. Anyway, it'll be really interesting to see how this new game effects the future of Heroes, both arcade and 3DS based.
One thing is for sure, I doubt we'll ever see a 3DS Heroes launch Stateside because of the new card game, I think we'll see that, though.

First off, thanks for the story listing above
I hope they make a third game, and I'd love to import it. But yeah, I'd say the chances of any of these games ever getting a localization are slim to none. I wouldn't count on the new NFC game either, as Panini just restarted their official DBZ CCG about 18 months ago and I can't see the market here supporting two separate card games for the series.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
This game (along with pretty much any DB game tbf) can get realllllly frustrating sometimes...
I remember the bar-fill being quite slow in UM1 but in UM2 it's a big jump. Yet the stronger opponents ALWAYS get it either full or near full. I feel like there's some sort of fix with not only that, but your own bar too.
As per usual with many games, especially with DB, the odds are always going to be against you. There's even times where it's been 1 on 1 on Round 1, and I STILL get stunned on the first attack. Surely that's a bit unfair?

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
It happens. I think that's the biggest disadvantage of not understanding Japanese. There are some abilities and things like that, could give those characters serious strength buffs or whatever. Without really knowing what you're going up against (besides the character and their HP), it's hard to know ... What .. You're going up against. If that makes sense lol.Wilderness wrote:This game (along with pretty much any DB game tbf) can get realllllly frustrating sometimes...

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
Well, certain cards do have 'your CI bar will move more slowly' as a property; I know there's a particular Tenshinhan (one of the crappier ones, sadly) that has that characteristic, so I often include him just to improve my chances against a more difficult enemy
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
Does anyone know if it's possible to pull character models from the game?

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
It can probably be done, people have made custom versions of Pokemon X and Y and changed character models. You should ask over at GBATemp http://gbatemp.net/forums/3ds-rom-hacki ... ities.276/Shinnin wrote:Does anyone know if it's possible to pull character models from the game?

Does anyone know how to get golden Freezer or ssgss Goku? I tried the qr code that came with V Jump, but it didn't work.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
You have to be in Ultimate Universe Mode, and go up to Yunzabit Plains, at the top left of the map (it's a blue dot). There, if you've unlocked/ activated them by downloading the requisite update, you can fight Freeza, Goku, Golden Freeza and SSJB Goku & Golden Freeza; if you win you unlock SSJB Goku and SSJB Vegeta, I believe. As I recall, Golden Freeza does come from a V-Jump QR code, but I can't recall which/ when, unfortunately.Son_GokouSSJ4 wrote:Does anyone know how to get golden Freezer or ssgss Goku? Also, just in case you haven't already done these- some other QR codes: http://dbhu.channel.or.jp/special/02.html
Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
Actually, you unlock Golden Freezer in one of those Yunzabit battles. I believe the first or second Resurrection F-themed battle.
