So it's confirmed Super takes place just a few months after Buu?! I always said It never made sense that the two events: Satan get the world peace award for beating Buu and Vegeta fufill his promise to Trunks, to take place 4 years after Buu.

Make everything happening sooner, Toriyama has more room to milk this 10 years gap. We gonna be stuck here forever in Super.
But Pan age gets retconned. One way or another, something in EOZ will get retconned so I won't lose my sleep on this. Super is its own thing. A separate product.

-New characters-
They seem interesting. More Gods that rule over other Gods. Anyway much better news than anything I read in the last days.

12 new characters above beerus, which, vados etc? Well, maybe not whis and vados, but sure above beerus and champa. Tho, i suspect they will be more powerful than whis and vados, which kinda makes me sad.

The whole timeline issue is getting worst now. So that makes Pan at the age of 9 at the end of DBZ which makes no sense given how she looks like a four year old. BOG had the timeline just fine with it being set four years after Buu. This is why I don't view Super canon to the manga because it's really starting to contradict itself.

What's the context behind the rest of the text on the script/draft/whatever for Episode 1. If it says a few months have passed, but that page is still detailing the wish to erase Buu's memories, then it's relatively useless.

If it's talking about the content from the episode set after the recap material, then it could have some value I suppose.

I'm not really interested in these 12 kings (unless they somehow lead to Vegeta and Gokû visiting Planet Sadla). I do hope that them being robots means Tori-bot gets to eventually show up.

I am however interested in:
-possibility of a "Piccolo babysits Pan" episode
-Arale's cameo
-everything about Copy-Vegeta

So I've got those 3 things to look forward to.

Not if you just ignore the re-tellings, you don't need them as you can have both movies working together along with the new events.

No. Outside of the initial designs of the main characters, the vast majority of GT was designed by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru.

Okay I see. I was fairly thrown off by what "main cast" exactly referred to, as it was noted that Toriyama even designed "mustache Vegeta" who was not around all that much in the beginning of GT except when he was controlled by Bebi. Even Trunks's design was a little too much for me though! Not the biggest fan of it.

I was thinking that maybe Monaca transforms into his opponent, and he is the copy-Vegeta. That's why it was so tough for Beerus to beat him (in case it was not a lie). But it appears that he fights Goku first and they all learn that he is weak..

The Champa saga has references to the re-tellings. We saw flash backs of Beerus fight with Fat Buu which happen differently in the show.

I'd be interested in seeing Arale and Piccolo both babysit Pan, I think it'd be fun to see those two interact!

Seriously, who cares if they change the timeline? EOZ was only like two chapters, and it has no effect on the overall story if they decide to retcon it, no point in keeping it if they don't need to. You guys might as well just forget about it until Super gets to that point.

I like the design and the duo-presentation. It reminds me of Dabura and Babidi somehow. The only thing I don't like at all is the antena. That's just horrible.

Age/appearance ratio makes no sense in the franchise as a whole. The best examples are 15 year-old Goku in Dragon Ball and 11 year-old Gohan in DBZ:

Goku is a pure blooded Saiyan. We have an explanation for why he remains short. A better representation would have been Kuririn or Chi Chi.
