Yep. Hatchan is the Japanese nickname Goku gave him (Not a Japanese student or anything, but I believe it is because hatchi is japanese for eight, combined with chan, which everyone knows.). America gave him two names, one in the Manga and one in the anime. The manga called him 8-man, which sounds kinda stupid to me, while the anime went with Eighter, which is what I personally prefer.

Fair enough, to each their own. But I will say, as much as I love Dr. Slump and Arale, I think your idea would be pretty damn cool to start the next arc.

Alright I came back. I apologize, When I first saw the topic title I wasn't expecting this thread to be about Arale. Yes that right, I commented without reading who the character was. I've found out recently it was about Arale and I assumed wrongly something else. Like I said, just seeing a reference of a character returning in the title made me think it was about Future Trunks or something more substantial to the plot and not a cameo of Arale.

Lol it's just concept art. I wouldn't worry too much about it at least until we actually see a screenshot of an episode he is in. I sincerely doubt the animators would change his hair to blue.
