Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2" (JP 3DS)
I wish they would just release the cards and games over here! Love the potential of this series, especially the integration of the movie villains and GT. Wish they had more pre-Z characters, like the Tenkaichi Budokai participants, Uranai Baba's Fighters, Red Ribbon members, and Piccolo Daimaos minions. Still, DB Heroes 2 for the 3DS looks like the best DB game in the franchise yet

I know it's easy to say from a place of privilege... but... the game's not very exciting. I can generally only do one or two battles before turning my attention to something else. Particularly once you find your favorite combo of cards/characters, it's really just doing the same thing over and over and seeing if you get another card that you're invariably not going to use because you're already using stronger ones anyway. The game also runs like hot garbage on 3DS, with a lot of the super moves hitting the near-single-digit frame rate area.

There are people who just got DBH playable on a 3DS emulator the other day, and progress is moving very fast now. It still has big framerate drops but it will eventually run buttery smooth with HD textures which the 3DS could never even come close running.VegettoEX wrote:The game also runs like hot garbage on 3DS, with a lot of the super moves hitting the near-single-digit frame rate area.

Oh, I'm well aware of that
. Seen it in action. That's great and all, but it doesn't really help those who want to play it on their actual systems right now!

You're right. I wish it wasn't region locked. I'm hoping they'll make DBH 3 a worldwide release like Dokkan, but with PVP. #DragonBallDreamingVegettoEX wrote:Oh, I'm well aware of that. Ah, that's disappointing to hear. A man can still dream of seeing the cards released stateside, or some other english speaking nation, as the artwork is breathtaking. How many are there again? 2000 and counting? That's insane.VegettoEX wrote:I know it's easy to say from a place of privilege... but... the game's not very exciting. If you have a New3DS with custom firmware installed, you can use NTR to overclock and run the game perfectly.VegettoEX wrote:I know it's easy to say from a place of privilege... but... the game's not very exciting.
