So what? Are they really going to follow the same opening pattern as back in the day? We're in 2016, anime shows often change openings.Psykomatik wrote:DBZ same opening for 200 episodes: No complain.
DBS same opening for 42 episodes: A lot of abusing complains...
Toei doesn't do that, doesn't matter what year it is.Jaetinh wrote:So what? Are they really going to follow the same opening pattern as back in the day? We're in 2016, anime shows often change openings.Psykomatik wrote:DBZ same opening for 200 episodes: No complain.

We're in 2016 but they're not.Jaetinh wrote:We're in 2016, anime shows often change openings.
Is buu really a certainty? By then Goten and trunks should be stronger than him. Even if they aren't super interested in training it's been shown that Vegeta trains trunks and Goku trains Goten at EOZ So I'd rather have one of them or Gohan take Buu's place.namekiansaiyan wrote:There will be 1 space vacant because of Monaka. Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Buu are almost certainties to be included, so it could be Uub if it is set after the end of Z.Grimlock wrote:The Multiverse Tournament should take place after the end of the series... Toei is like Nintendo, they're living in the past, their business methods are years behind everyone else' but they're too ignorant and stubborn to change them.
This is the company that's telling people that Super's 5th episode looks good and anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about, like Nintendo telling gamers they don't need 3rd party support.
That was a producer completely unrelated to the series making up a hasty comment for a question he wasn't expecting and didn't have all of the details for.sintzu wrote:We're in 2016 but they're not.Jaetinh wrote:We're in 2016, anime shows often change openings.

Among DB's characteristics are great fights, an epic connected story, funny comedy, great character designs and a well utilized cast of characters.MCDaveG wrote:At least Dragon Ball retained it's characteristic design.
He works for Toei and on the franchise so there was no excuse for him to say anything other then "The people working on it didn't have enough time to finish it up but we're doing our best to prevent it from happening again"JulieYBM wrote:That was a producer completely unrelated to the series making up a hasty comment for a question he wasn't expecting and didn't have all of the details for.
I am just going by how it is now in the show, the training bit is what is holding Goten and Trunks back. I think the tournament will be before the end of Z but we will have a few arcs to go before we reach it.kinisking wrote:Is buu really a certainty? Gohan is probably not training simply because Piccolo is not with him and Gohan is supposed to be training off him.Noah wrote:So... A bunch of "filler" episodes that adds nothing to the main plot, is that difficult to have the cast exploring Universe 6 and their new Earth? I hope that happens soon... And no Gohan yet, I wonder if he is in a secret training or something
And they don't, so what's your point? The 3DS outsells every other gaming system in Japan, clearly they're doing something right.sintzu wrote:We're in 2016 but they're not.Jaetinh wrote:We're in 2016, anime shows often change openings.

Daizenshuu 2 confirms that by EoZ they didn't get that much stronger than when they were kids. If EoZ still stands then they will be weaker than Boo and Piccolo.kinisking wrote:Is buu really a certainty? By then Goten and trunks should be stronger than him. Wow, really?! I feel like Toriyama regretted making the half breeds so strong in comparison to Goku so he decided to nerf the hell out of them by making them not train. At least Gohan never enjoyed fighting that much, but Goten and Trunks really should have gotten the chance to realize their potentials.

Ten years after the battle with Majin Buu, Goten had completely become a young man, and had changed his hair as well. Since peace had thrown off his training, power-wise he hasn't had any explosive growth since when he was a boy.
Having fully become an adult, he is now at about the same age as adult Trunks. Since he doesn't train very often, he hasn't explosively powered up.

The 3ds does have third party support in Japan though, which is not coincidentally the only territory where it's the number 1 system overall (not just number 1 portable).alakazam^ wrote:And they don't, so what's your point? To be fair, Chōzetsu Dynamic isn't quite as fun or catchy as CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA.Psykomatik wrote:DBZ same opening for 200 episodes: No complain.

I wouldn't say so either but I feel that it could've been a lot worse.EmmaWinters wrote:To be fair, Chōzetsu Dynamic isn't quite as fun or catchy as CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA.Psykomatik wrote:DBZ same opening for 200 episodes: No complain.
