This is the most unoriginal and stupid idea Toriyama has ever come up with. It is fucking fanfic. This is the last thing i wanted to see. Super how much more are you going to disappoint me.

Care to explain why?.We barely have much info on this anyways, I would hold off criticisms until we know more.

Well i can't the idea of a Gokuu who is i think pretty much confirmed to be the next villain is a terrible terrible idea. I don't like it i don't like it one bit.

I think we should wait to actually see Black Goku and learn some more details before we jump to conclusions.

Vegeta has changed so much from before so it'll be interesting to see his interactions with Trunks and maybe even future Bulma.

I also can't wait to see how big of a role he'll play in this cause it's more then likely going to be huge due to it revolving around his son and an evil "Goku".

I'm in this boat. It all just depends on how well this is executed.

It will be amazing to see how he reacts to Trunks. This Vegeta could really be proud of Trunks, and I can't wait to se Trunks reaction to Vegeta having changed so much.

Most probably gohan's, as it's related to trunks, and it's a suggested idea..
Don't see how in any other way kaioshen's involvement can be worth mentioning now

Just to indicate how universal threatening this is. That it's such a serious universal/multiversal threat that even the highest level of gods are getting involved

Toriyama did say its kinda obvious what "Goku Black" is so I'm guessing its just an evil Goku, they probably read some comments online and saw a lot of people hyped up about an evil Goku idea since it seems Toriyama's open for suggestions.

Anyways not really hyped up for this, a multiversal tournament would have been better, not really fond of an evil Goku idea and not really a fan of Trunks.

As a fan of the Black Moon arc of Sailor Moon, I'm good with the idea of an evil and/or corrupted-against-his-will Gokû; as long as he retains some level of Gokû-ness to keep him from getting too generic-evil.

If anything I'll be disappointed if it's Bardock since I'm tired of him being brought back again and again and again. I'll also be disappointed, but less so, if it's a clone of Gokû ala Dr. Gero machines.

Interesting stuff. Future Trunks ain't my favourite character but I like him and he was always much better than current Trunks, I'm glad he's coming back I to it.

Not sure what to think of Goku Black, considering there's been some complaints about Toriyama running out of ideas and some of his designs just being palette swaps this sounds like it could just be another one if them. I don't mind an Evil Goku story though, it could be interesting, we'll see.

So it looks like Toriyama writes a plot outline and does the character designs for the arc and then Toei and Toyotaro take that outline and put out there version if it which is why it's similar but different.

I suppose that means that the latest episode and the next 4 would be considered filler then right because Toriyama had no involvement with them.

Either DR.Gero had another secret lab with an evil clone of him or someone tried to bring him back and it went wrong, resulting in him turning evil.

With Toriyama being so unpredictable I doubt we'll guess what's going on but it'll be fun to see if someone gets it right.

The copy arc starts next week and will probably last for 5 episodes so it could be a mini arc he wrote.

They could have used the dragon balls there and revived him, or the Goku there while dead took over the otherworld and changed the rules there that even if you die you can still go to the living world, a lot of possibilities tbh if they want an evil Goku to happen.

Future Trunks is my favourite character so I'm hyped like crazy for June 12th. The whole "Black Goku" thing sounds interesting and if executed properly should make for a great villain for Goku to fight. This next tournament is going to be insane.

He ruined Trunks' timeline so with him coming back after so long it should be him and Gohan who team up against him.

The thought of Toriyama handling something as basic and silly as "evil Goku" is something I need to see. I actually love that the series is doing all these wacky fanfic-y things.

Fanfics have been going on for the past 20 years so there's not much that hasn't been done.

What he can do is take an idea fans are used to like an evil Goku and make it something 10 times better.
