Future Trunks by far. His intro with him single handedly slicing up Frieza so easy was almost hysterical. And thats when everyone knew that shit was about to get real soon!!

And then he failed at everything, untill he destroyed much weaker 17, 18 and Cell.

Future Trunk is one of few characters in the Dragon Ball manga to get an actual backstory. He wins by default for me.

Hmm I largely considered both versions, different iterations of the same character, I like Kid Trunks a lot as he contrasts the adult version we were accustomed to. He has the luxury of being a kid having grown up with his father, during a peaceful time. Future Trunks is definitely cooler but I do feel that he could have done more in the Cell arc. With the upcoming developments with the Trunks character I'm curious how these two counter parts will interact with each other and whether they could influence each other to change.
