This certainly caught my interest. I always wondered about their first appearance (Why were they colored like that, anyway?), and I find this kind of odd to be a toy. And I have not bought a DBZ action figure in a while...

I think I'll be buying assorted Dragon Ball things for the rest of my life.

That's odd. Pretty cool though. They probably figured that it'd help sales since they're probably the first Vegeta and Nappa figures ever to be colored that way. And if they flop they can just repaint them with the later colors that are used. One thing though, Vegeta is way too tall. Also, they have one of the coolest ideas ever coming out in August, Chibi Piccolo action figure!

Well, if those are the actual heights, then it wouldn't surprise me. The current US DBZ toys really don't go well in terms of size along with the older US toys :?.

But yeah, that's a pretty awesome find. It's about time they had an intentionally incorrectly colored Vegeta as opposed to the three or so re-releases of Majin Vegeta because of the wrong hair color . I wonder what they'd refer to him in the packaging, though? Proabably something like Outer Space Vegeta, going with the fan speculation of space atmospher messing with the color of... everything.

All that's left is a Tori-bot figure out there and my DBZ figure dreams will come true :D...

They don't seem to be the most acurate figures to the show I've ever seen. I don't think they know much about the series. In any case, don't forget to get your preorders in for action figures of Mr. Hercule and Racoome.

Heh, nice job using the same leg molds for every character. Also this site sounds like a direct rip-off of ToyBiz.

This reminds me of why I haven't purchased any dbz toys since 1998. :(

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

This only proves further that Jakks Pacific is only good at making wrestling figures (especially when they actually scanned the wrestler's whole bodies), but these figures are just... bad? lol

But I'm sad to say I'll be getting that Vegeta, JUST because he's that weird green coloration. :lol

I wish Toybiz had the rights to this show. They did very well for the most part makeing Marvel comic book characters into action figures. I'd love to see how they'd do with DB/Z/GT.

Toybiz would be interesting. But, imo, Bandai or Irwin are/were pretty damn good (well... early Irwin stuff). But Bandai wins for the Super Battle Collection; sure some of those looked weird, but others were dead-on, and they all had kick ass detail, and the packaging make them Uber-Collectibles lol.

What I liked about Irwin was they made a lot of figures of almost everyone, and not just Piccolo, the villains and 3 versions of each Saiyan.

The problem with Toywiz.com is the outrageous prices they sell stuff for. Compare the fact that I just bought the Dr. Mu and Baby two-pack from Z-Store for less than $20, when they're selling it for $39.99.

There are some good Jakks toys out there; unfortunately, a lot of them, like the Burdock and Raditz figures, sell out way too quickly.

By the way, if anyone wants that uber-awesome Super Jackie Chun/Gokuu two-pack, Z-Store's is a lot less, too. I might get that ^^

Doesn't this Trunks look like he's from that old flash game, Mission to Namek?

That's true, I loved that line, although I only have Ultimate Gohan.

Yeah... they owe me a Vol. 07 Super Vegeta: the only one I'm missing out of the entire SBC  (except that damned super saiyan 3 pack >.<)

But yeah, I gave them money, and they gave me nothing but an expensive email invoice... And they don't respond to emails, so the hell with them ;)

To be fair, his hair is colored like that for a few moments when he goes Super Saiyan against Freeza and Cold.
