Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I've only seen it in Korean, but the Vegeta vs Cabba fight os awesoke in the comic. I see why they animated his feet like they did in the intro, as he fought inly with them for the first part of the fight. Vegeta vs Hit was nice, Vegeta got rekt. I don't know why Hit smiled at the end with Goku, or any of the dialogue, so I'll wait for Herms to get to that.

Whoah, that was awesome through and through. Great stuff!

I wonder who took who from who?
I know Toriyama mentioned the staff were using Toyotaro's manga as a rough storyboard, but there's a pretty lengthy gap here. I wonder how much of a buffer Totoyaro has for this thing.

I actually quite liked the Cabba fight, he was brutally beaten by Vegeta here. While the anime had the SS Cabba vs. SS Vegeta fight longer than their regular form fight, the manga did the exact opposite. Hit vs. Vegeta battle is too short, the anime got that one better imo. Also disappointed that Goku fought Hit in base like in the anime.

Future trunks arc will start in the july chapter then.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
What an awesome chapter. I liked the cabbe fight in the anime but damn the manga blew it out of the water. The anime did hit vs vegeta better though.
Disclaimer: I might get into a disagreement with you. Sometimes I might even get feisty about it. I'll never harbor negative feelings because of it though. I hope you feel the same way!Jinzoningen MULE wrote: Maybe I should start making it a point not to comment when I'm not sure of something. Too many people know what they're talking about around here.
I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Good chapter but it's strange them fighting during the "day" and in what seems to be a random stadium in their neighbourhood.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Vegeta vs Cabba was very good. The Super Saiyan transformation is more impact full here. Such a nice touch, Vegeta uses the same attack that killed Nappa to force Cabba into SSJ. Really illustrates the character growth, from what he was in the Saiyan Arc to what he is now.

Can somebody translate what Jaco and the king said about Hits time ability. Or is it the same explanation as in the Anime?

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Much better than last month's chapter, I prefer the way Vegeta tortured Cabba here. I really wish Toyotaro could replace Yamamuro as the anime's character designer.
But man, the manga is getting really far behind, the Trunks arc is going to be quite a few episodes in already by the time the manga gets to it.

I hope someone releases a colored version of that soon, it's one of his best panels.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Haven't read it yet, but it sounds like Cabba turning SSJ is much less BSsy in the manga which was my major grievance. This makes me much happier and further deflates Super for me
. Maybe I just prefer the manga flow.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I wish the Super manga had a different aura for SSGSS, to match how it looks in the animated versions and better differentiate it from regular Super Saiyan. The Grade 2-like one it uses is too "fierce" and kind of clashes with how SSGSS's power is supposed to be more controlled and tranquil. Something wavy and flame-like, similar to Toriyama's SSG drawing, would be perfect, and also probably easier for Toyble Toyotaro to draw.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Some frames are almost identical to the anime. Best example would be vegeta holding kyabe by the shirt.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Again like the last three months, there is not much of a difference from the anime to say that the chapter was awesome. Even though kyabe vs vegeta was better in the manga, but thats still one out of many things.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I don't think its too big a deal, but in the anime, Hit takes a basic fighting stance, while the manga has him start the fight and kick Vegeta around while his hands are in his pockets, as if to REALLY emphasize his apathy about the tournament.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I enjoy the alternate battles. I'm more looking forward to a dialogue translation to see if there's anything new there.
Also, Cabba doesn't get super saiyan eyebrows in this version.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Veggie vs Cabbe is beautiful to watch as always.
Can anyone who reads Korean say if Hit is telling Vegeta to concede? I only see Hit possibly speaking to Vegeta at one point, and I'm not sure if it's a sound effect or what.
Yes! I like how in this version Vegeta uses the move he used to kill Nappa, implying that he was actually using a finishing move on Cabbe to force him to turn SSJ.LightBing wrote:Such a nice touch, Vegeta uses the same attack that killed Nappa to force Cabba into SSJ. Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Another chapter , another reminder why the anime is sh**t , can't believe people defend the anime.
