It won't reach One Pieve levels, but I'm really curious how high will his debut episode rank.
The announcement of his return created a lot of hype. And japanese nowadays kids already know him really well too, thanks to DB Heroes.

Are we talking about the first episode or the entire arc? If it's the entire arc i still have hope that dragonball super will surpass one piece once or twice

Overtaking One Piece is probably too much to hope for, even temporarily. It's way too big of a franchise (I know Dragon Ball is huge, too, but its heyday is surely seen by many as being far in the past). Just getting past Detective Conan is quite a feat; it's rare for any of the usual top 6 series to fall below anything other than a special or movie. If we could start beating Conan on a consistent basis, that might be the best we can hope for (and even that's a stretch).

I don't think we'll beat it on the first episode because not everyone will know what to expect and the hype train won't be rolling yet, however I do believe that the climax of the arc could beat one piece. I would love to be proven wrong though.
