I've wondered that as well. Would they allow the Saiyan species, if they do decide to add in a tail option, to transform into Oozaru via tossing a Power Ball in the sky similar to the Budokai Tenkaichi series?

Maybe the reason your character is changing history is because Mira and Towa go into the PC past and possess them, making the later you Towa's minion. And by the time you break out of the control, you realise that changing history is kind of fun.

They would have to play like they did in the BT series and even then Id rather see it go to Namekians with a possible giant form. Xenoverse's Oozaru fights were basically a simpler copy and paste of Battle of Z's.

They'd also be slow, and probably terrible for PVP.

Well thats the thing with Saiyans being the ones with all the forms. How do you give all the other races a means to compete without pissing off fans and skewering the amount of forms Saiyans have (because be honest, nobody is foaming at the mouth for SSJ2. They went SSJ3 and above.)

I honestly think Majins by default should look like Kid Buu and the female Buu since that was the Majin's original form. The whole fat form is just a byproduct of Dai Kaioshin being absorbed. Have the Majins be "Pure" be default and just give them the larger Super Buu form as a transformation.

Freeza's race having the options to choose Cooler's Super form or Freeza's would be nice but in all honestly it will just be Freeza's because its simpler therefore = quicker and easier to work with. Plus with all the parts equipable for the race (Hero suit, berserk, elite, ultimate F, etc) having them all morph like Cooler's form would potentially cause all sorts of clipping.

Namekians are tricky because outside of their giant form, they really dont have much. I've often said multiple times before to bring whatever this was over from DBO -

So outside of a giant form and MAYBE doing something like mutation (think Piccolo Daimao's kids), I got nothin for the Namekians.

The only thing about that is you can already make their eyes red / antennae sticking up as a customization. So it would be kind of a waste in a way.

There's a Nameikian God Class in Heroes? I had no idea. They can definitely give them something that slightly changes their appearance or Aura. I hope they stay away from giant form, not a fan of that at all.

It's a God Class-Up(grade). Saiyan Avatars are the only ones with transformations with improving states, all the others just get new outfits.

I just took a look of the Class ups for Heroes and Xenoverse should totally do this. All classes have comparable transformations/power ups which is I think is a great way to balance things out. Man I hope they do this as I love playing with Namekians. Come on Dimps!

I'm actually ok with that as long as there is some form of appearance change and the power upgrade is comparable. DIMPS makes both games and think it's possible they include it. I know a bunch of people had transformation complaints in their feedback. It would be a nice touch.

Like I just said, you'll have to ask someone who actually plays the game, but as far as I know, there is no actual power increase for the class upgrades. Saiyans get new transformations with each Class-Up to increase their power, but the other races only have new outfits and tweaked abilities.

Oh ok, I got ya. When I looked up the wiki, it said it increases their power similar to Super Saiyan gods. The Wiki also says that the class up for each race puts them on par with Saiyan transformations in terms of power. For example: Class up is on par with SSJ 2, and Super Class up is on par with SSJ 3. I hope this is the way they choose to go for Xenoverse.

Maybe I just didn't give it enough time (around 4 hours), but trying to learn Xenoverse's bizarre control scheme just made me miss BT3/METEOR.

And there's just something about the visuals that still feels off. It's a tired comparison, but how do the Naruto Ninja Storm games look so fluid and pretty with a thousand characters in them while Dragon Ball games have been getting fewer and fewer characters and super stiff and glossy, unappealing visual styles?


Character lineup had so many questionable omissions in Xeno1, how can you make a DBZ game without Cell's lower forms? Also, locking costumes to specific forms and movesets was probably the most creatively-restrictive idea they could have had. Maybe they'll know better than to do that this time.
Super Saiyan Blue is not a creative color.
DBZ Movie 3 told a stronger and more believable "Evil Goku" story in 60 minutes than Dragon Ball Super has in 20 episodes. And it did it with better visuals and score.

Given the way, people have been mentioning that it does not look exactly like Future Gohan in the clip, maybe you can save Gohan, but still fool Trunks into believing he died, thus letting history run its proper course, until it gets revealed later on to Trunks, that Gohan didn't die?
