Eh, true enough.

But the SSJ transformations are only used solely for spam fests and nothing more. You don't garner any strength from them, as far as I know.

Looking at the trailer, it looks like the male Majin Buu still have the fat physique as the only option. They should include Kid/Super Buu type physique as an option.

But SSJ was really helpfull to me in PQs. I don't care about online spam fest, because I always tried to play it more technically, but my opponents were always, Ultimate attack - Health capsule - Ultimate attack - bye, bye...
So I don't play online at all. I think that being adult and not having all day to adjust to online play and being online killer has to do with it a lot.

No, that's not true. You get a pretty significant bonus to your physical attacks, it's just that unlimited ki is too easy to abuse for anyone to use Super Saiyan as it was intended.

Is that so? I've never noticed - usually because I focused most of my attributes on melee attacks, so it would be beneficial for me anyways.

They were only placeholders / templates from XV1 carried over. I'm sure Male Majins will have something new to them

On the topic of SSJ, I really hope our CaC (If they are a saiyan.) Actually gets to have a transformation moment...it felt very cheap just going to the store and buying super saiyan in XV1. Just like "One super saiyan power up please!" But then again that might be too much to add in a special mission just for one race. Unless everyone else got something more to them besides Kaio-Ken.

There should be a story mission where every race gains their transformation. It would go the same way no matter what race, but just with a different transformation.

For example, this:

You and Trunks have tracked down Towa and Mira. The both of you fight them, and Trunks is severely wounded. You are also tired from the fight. Mira is about to finish off Trunks when suddenly you transform! You fight back Mira, and eventually Towa decides they should retreat.

If you're a Saiyan you would go Super Saiyan
If you're a Human you would go into a buff mode like Roshi (because learning Kaioken out of the blue would be kinda dumb)
If you're a Namekian you either gain a red eyed form, or become a giant Namekian.
If you're a Frieza race you would get to actually design your new form because I can't think of any other way to do it. :lol:
If you're a Majin, I'm not really sure... Maybe a Super Buu form?

Every race would be able to learn Kaioken and Potential Unlocked, but these would be acquired from training with King Kai and Elder Kai respectively. :D

Also, I'd love Kaioshin, and Bio Android races, but I don't know what they'd transform into. Bio Androids could have a transformation that gives them a different aura simply titled "Perfect form" or something like that, but the kais I have no clue. Maybe Mystic could be their thing, but that wouldn't really make sense or work.

I like the idea it would work and would have a better impact in terms of having a CAC. Humans could even have like some unlocked potential type of thing. That would surely be the harder one to create than any of the others since they could just simply make something up. But I just hope that any transformation has a longer lasting time frame or it's like in BT3 you stay that way or can go back to normal. It should also have a physical change so you feel as though you didn't just change your hair color or skin tone. The hard part in capturing that in the mission is if you play a silent hero again. They need to give the CAC lines so when that mission comes with the transformation it has more of a impact as that scene plays out.

Whoever is worried about new customsiation options its been confirmed there will be more. Which if they build on everything from Xenoverse 1 is gonna be great coz that game had pretty good variety already and most outfits from the show. Hopefully we can change colours on everything this time.

Shit, I missed a lot of stuff lately. I knew a Xenoverse 2 was gonna come. Now, I'm just worried about the release date being around later this year, cuz they might not have enough time to address the issues the first game has, but then again, it's Dimps, I'm sure they'll bring up a lot of fresh ideas in 6-7 months. Budokai 3 was a major step up from Budokai 2, and it came a year after.

^ Yeah a close release date doesn't always spell rushed/bad game, look at the PSONE Crash games.

That's what I said in a previous page. After Dragon Ball Xenoverse (and some other games of theirs), I devote my soul to Dimps and therefore I believe Xenoverse 2 won't be a disappointment, even with that release date so "close" to the previous game.

Also, weren't the Dragon Ball games annual? I don't remember a year without a game at this moment, but if I'm correct, then maybe Dimps could've been working on XV2 since/some time after the release of Xenoverse.

Different eras, you can't compare them. The transition to HD made development time longer and of course games bigger, more complex etc.

After watching the trailer, I'm getting a little worried that flying in the home world is just apart of the intro and not something that can actually be done in the game. Hope i'm wrong.

I think you can see multiple times in the trailer chracters hovering in the city, as if they were standing mid-air.

You're right. Probably can't do fast flight though, which would actually make sense.

I wonder if we will have a playable Demigra in this game, if so fingers crossed for Gravy and Putine.

Their attacks would be cool to have for a character.
