Welp, I hope they don't debut that supposed SSJ White here. Otherwise white power may triumph over the evil black enemy.

I don't think they'll introduce 3 new forms and still keep Goku & Vegeta below Beerus when they've been close to him since the 1st one, and Toriyama said he doesn't have any plans to make Goku & Vegeta stronger than Beerus yet. I think we won't get a new form in this arc, so Goku Black is the "next enemy" that Toriyama was talking about color-clashing with Super Saiyan White. So, if we had gotten Super Saiyan White back in FnF, we would get SS White Goku vs Goku Black...

The next arc starting at 47 though means this Copy-Vegeta mini-arc will probably be done by the end of 45 and they'll have another oneshot episode for 46? I can't imagine this filler arc leading directly into the Future Trunks arc.

Black of heart. "Black new enemy" is just referring to the fact that it's Goku Black, we still don't know why he's called that yet.

So this does lead directly into that (or at least Copy-Vegeta is the last "filler" episode before the new arc). 5 is about the number of filler eps we've had in-between the other arcs, so I understand.

I'm not sure I understand why so many people are assuming it's really a thing that's definitely gonna happen, unless I missed something.

Do you really believe that Super Saiyan Blue is the last form we'll see? There is Champa & Beerus, Whis & Vados, Zenno & his attendants, along with who knows what else across the 12 universes & different timelines, and there are at least 2 more arcs on the way... You think they'll progress so far only by training, when Goku & Vegeta just trained for 3 years inside the Room of Spirit and Time and still didn't get close to Beerus?

The word used "kuroki" can both mean black and dark but, since we know about "Goku Black", it's probably referring to the color.

Honestly, I'm not sure. If the merchandising people have their way, and/or if Toriyama continues to rest on what's 'easy' to do (ie give a new transformation and say it's stronger than previous ones), which he very well could do, then yeah, it's pretty likely we'll get a new form. At the same time though, we have absolutely no way to know for sure that we will, much less that it will indeed be 'Super Saiyan White'. My whole point is that people are taking a comment that I'm pretty sure was in jest, and treating it as a 100% factual info drop of what's to come, as if it came in the same way as actual series teases like Toriyama's previous statements about 'there's gonna be a tournament in another universe' and most recently 'Future Trunks comes back and there's a Goku Black they're gonna have to fight'. Speculation is fine, hell, it's fun and even kind of the point of a forum - I just don't get why it's seemingly accepted as a 'definite' thing.

On a more personal note though, I'd actually kind of hope we don't get any more transformations. I'm quite liking this new standard we have set right now, of base being their 'low' point, Super Saiyan the 'mid', and Super Saiyan Blue being the 'high', and I'd hate to lose that just to go to another constantly growing one-upmanship game on the transformation train.

Super is made to sell merchandise so they more than likely have a saying in certain things so a New Ssj form will happen sooner or later cause that's the easiest thing to sell.

Goku and Gohan were very badass characters in Z but in Super they've changed so much that they're barely recognizable.

Goku is more Goku than ever. Gohan is the one he was already shaping up to be in Z.

Nah just because gokus goofy qualities were exaggerated go insane proportions doesn't mean he's more goku than ever. Same with gohan. The dude wanted to be a scholar but he also knew he had to be a protector. Even after cell he did things here and here to protect. But now he's stopped training again which makes no sense after he saw the consequences of the first time. Even if ep 30 wasn't filler, he should have learnt that lesson earlier
