Weekly Shonen Jump is released every Monday in Japan. Leaks happen when they happen and should not be the focus of the conversation.

That new Monster Hunter anime (announced a few months back) will premiere on Fuji in October, airing every Sunday 8:30 am. This is relevant to us because Dragon Ball will have new company, an anime lead-in it didn't have. I'm expecting it to be very good for the ratings.

I don't think it's for sure; this thread has so much information and speculation intertwined, it's hard to separate between what is definitely happening and what we hope will happen. I remember a scan saying that more info would be revealed in Jump, but I don't recall if it said a specific issue number...like, they could've meant a later issue closer to the air date, unless it said it would definitively be the very next issue. I guess we'll find out fairly soon if there's anything new, but I'm not personally getting my hopes up (now watch me be totally wrong and it's like "ZOMG the biggest info dump EVAR!" )

Yeah, i'm not sure there'll actually be anything this issue either.

Anyway, some leaks have been out for a couple hours, but just the usual manga stuff. Anime info isn't a priority, so don't expect it so soon unless there is really something and it's big news.

I also hope this is incentive for them to return to a more action based Precure next year. This year's Precure has been pretty bland imo.

Well I don't wanna get too off topic here, but I'm mainly just kinda peeved that they're reusing old titles. It makes things confusing.

I don't have a copy, but didn't that VJump scan that mentioned Weekly Jump say the week of June 5-6? Maybe the news update on the new arc is in the issue two weeks from now instead.

Looking at it now. Yeah, it specifically says the WJ27 issue. We're on 25 right now. 26 is out on Monday (May 29). 27 is out June 6th, the date it mentions.

(It also starts out by mentioning June 5 in terms of the broadcast, but that's of course because the end of that week's episode will preview the next episode, which airs on the 12th and starts the new arc.)

So everyone can relax!

I hope that it is Time Breaker Bardock. I think that could open up the series a lot if Toriyama gave us his version of the Time Patrol/Time Breakers/Towa/Mira story.

I agree. The second I saw "Black Goku" and future Trunks I thought of Time Breaker Bardock. I always wanted to see more of the DBO story, including Towa and Mira's son which never happened because of the game shutting down. It wrote over GT in the best way. I love towards the end of the timeline how Goku and Vegeta were last seen training in deep space.
