Remember what happens when you go for buffness, though. USSJ Trunks vs Perfect Cell is a pretty big indicator.
Unless you want to go the Broly route and look super buff without losing any speed, which I'd find pretty odd.

Especially on females. That wouldn't make any sense. I still say Super Earthling/Human.

They should just make small changes, like a consistent white aura and something else like that. After all they continue to make Goku appear in normal form for fighting, except when he get serious.

If Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 covers Dragon Ball part going all the way through GT it might be the longest Dragon Ball game ever. I'm not so sure of it covering pre-Dragon Ball Z and even if it does, the focus would be Dragon Ball Z part and maybe Dragon Ball Super. Not to mention there will be (all?) movies in there, so... Man this is gonna be a long ride through the history.

Yep. It's gonna be the most expansive and most detailed game to date. And it has to be winter.

Since this is a time travel game, I think Dragonball deserves it's spot in there.

Hopefully the posters indicate that DB will be in there.

That doesn't mean we can't get original Dragon Ball stuff. I think Tenkaichi 3 was a good start, with it covering pretty much everything, though DB and DBGT didn't have as heavy of a focus as DBZ.

Future Trunks' time line, before the events in The History of Trunks.

Future Trunks & Future Gohan meet Hoi.
Some how open the box and subsequently meet Tapion.
Hirudegarn emerges a few days later.
Tapion seals Hirudegarn in his body.
Trunks kills Tapion, and acquires his sword.

It's a darker version of WoTD but suitable for Future Trunks as he grew up in a harsh environment.

I think it would be cool to see this 'non-canon?' sword story play out in a game.

I agree with you there. That's how I consider those things could have happened. Either that, or they simply got it from Minoshia.

However, I don't think we will see it...

I didn't say we can't or we won't get anything related to original Dragon ball but it's pretty obvious why Z era is THE focus in games/media etc.
