Because it would be interesting and actually develop Goku a bit. Why else?
a successful movie like Fukkatsu no F
Just because something is successful doesn't mean it's good.
Goku's personality has been pointed out in the manga several times and, if it didn't go beyond it, it's because it doesn't need to.
Implying Toriyama is ALWAYS right?
an issue only you have
This is simply not true.
The way he wrote made it seem he wants Goku to be punished because of his personality and all his points boiled down to that, even relating
F being "a piece of crap" with them not addresing that "issue". If that was his intention then it wasn't out of interest to develop Goku or make stuff "interesting", it wasn't a serious argument at all.
No, it means it is successful. But how would you classify a movie that got leaked early and still made lots of money for everybody involved? Bad? I don't think so. Opinions are fine but these are the facts so blanket statements like that don't really hold any water.
Yes. As the creator, Toriyama is always right. He's the one calling all the shots so whatever he says, goes. Arguing otherwise is, frankly, a waste of time because, at the end of the day, whatever he puts out is the final product and, whether people liked it or not, they still have to deal with it being a thing. If whatever Toriyama creates makes people drop the series that's his problem, we don't get to tell him what to do. If he didn't feel the need to address Goku's actions (even though he already did several times) then it's because that's not something that needs addressing.

Oh, so that stuff near Trunks' leg was a destroyed ceiling! That picture is slightly different than the one in the magazine, mainly the background.
