How Strong Is Goku Black

I don't see how Goku Black could be any threat if he's not at Zeno's level or at least Whis/Vados. I know it's probably not the case, and he's probably even weaker than Beerus.
But i mean, if Goku Black is weaker than the gods of destruction and whis/vados, but still stronger than our heroes, then whenever things go south - the gods/whis/vados will destroy him.
The way DBS is written is like this: a powerful enemy has arrived? stronger than even Goku and Vegeta? no problem, OP Whis is there if anything gets tricky. They don't have to struggle anymore like they did on DB and DBZ.
There are no more trump cards and last resorts.
So how are we supposed to take this arc seriously? unless they give Black Goku an OP ability or something like that, i can't see how he could be a threat.

I mean I don't think he'll be stronger than Beerus or Whis but I do think he'll be on Goku and Vegeta SSJB level either through a god transformation (White hair super saiyan maybe?) or potara fusion or maybe even a unlocked potential/ mystical form just like Gohan who knows. But I don't think Beerus and Whis being used as safety nets will come to play because quite frankly I don't think they care about any of Z warriors to save them, Unless earth and its food is in danger they most likely won't step in.

Well as people have said he will be as strong as the plot wants.

However I think we are reaching the point were our villain will be stronger then Beerus at least. With both Goku and Hit both possibly strong enough to actually survive a full power fight with Beerus or Champa its time we have a villain as strong or stronger then the gods of destruction.

Something is going to keep Whis and Beerus out of this arc.

Goku mentioned Whis having "gone somewhere" - where that is, I can't fathom. But that could be all we get as to why they are unavailable.

Although if Gods of Destruction do get involved, Black Goku would have to be considerably stronger. Possibly more powerful than Whis.

Since it's a serious tone they are going for, I don't think our heroes will have an easy time - I don't think Zeno will be involved until the end. The Universe is threatened, which could mean Black Goku has a similar power level as Beerus at 100%. The thing is, if Earth were to be threatened, would Beerus really let it explode? I bet he would try and save Earth so he can still eat Instant Ramen.

I don't think Champa and Vados will be involved in this arc, unless my previous prediction of the Z fighters using Universe 6 as a sanctuary (if Universe 7 winds up destroyed) turn out to be true.

For now, stronger than Super Saiyan Future Trunks is a minimum. In order to have a problem, he should be at least stronger than current Goku.

He's going to be as strong as the plot demands him to be. Just like every other character in Super.

Just like every other character in any other series, you mean.

No, I mean like just like every other character in Super.

Whats the difference? Everybody at any point in the series is as strong as they are because that's what the author/writers wanted.

Or do you mean that in a way to say the power scaling in Super makes no sense with what you personally believe?
