Yeah, Goku vs Beerus is only good in the very last episode, everything before then? Pretty worthless. The movie did it better by interspersing the dialogue in-between the fighting which was already done better in the film and had better locations than the TV version. Plus Beerus getting respect for Goku is considerably less interesting than having Goku gain respect for someone else after becoming more like Vegeta.FortuneSSJ wrote:Nah it wasn't. Goku/Beerus still had cool conversations, right after Goku reverts back to SSJ and before pass out. A different approach doesn't mean it was worst.
Oolong vs Beerus was indeed dragged though.
The arc could have less 2 episodes but I take that over ROF/Champa arcs, that could have at least more 4 episodes.
I rather more than less.
I too am a guy who usually goes for more over less, but in the case of Super BoG, the more we got added was a poor substitute for the less of the much better-crafted film version.
Honestly, I wouldn't use anything from Super as an example of how to pace anything. I'd first go for Kai or the manga.
