Black Goku revealed? plus Theory

I saw a video by Anime Live Reactions showing black goku.

You know, I have the weirdest feeling that black Goku is going to end up being a twin brother of Goku. They would explain that he existed the entire time and he was kidnapped and raised by Freeza then sent to the other side of the universe to wreck havoc. After he learns his "father" was killed he then seeks out the Earth.

That is my prediction, and I honestly I hope its something cooler then that.

Yeah and I came up with another theory:

Black Goku is actually like a timeline keeper of sorts. Trunks messed up his timeline/universe so badly black Goku had to go in and try to fix it. He then tries to kill Trunks and destroys the Earth to make sure the timeline remains safe again. Goku goes in the future and fights him only to find out his actually like Beerus and its his job to do this sort of thing. He goes on to tell Goku that if Trunks doesn't die, his universe would be destroyed from the disastrous effects he caused. Then Goku has to find it within himself to kill Trunks.

I hope not. Fanfic storylines have never been based on anything original, logical or creative in this series. Black Goku being Good Goku's lost brother is just lame. Raditz served a narrative purpose for him.

I don't think he'll be related; not in the usual sense. I still think he's another timeline's Gokû whose path diverged from regular Gokû's at some point. But I could be wrong. I hope to learn more once the NewType summaries come out.

There could be a lot of really cool things done in this arc. After Trunks kills the androids and Cell in his timeline, does Majin Buu get resurrected? Does Beerus still have a dream of Super Saiyan God and go to Earth in search for him? Do Freeza's underlings go to Earth to resurrect him? (Probably not considering there aren't Dragonballs anymore). But I wonder if the answer to any of these questions will be addressed and possibly be one of the reasons for Goku Black. Although, I really doubt any of it will be addressed and it will be its own thing. Whatever the case, I am open for anything I just really hope it is executed well. I was really happy with the Champa Tournament Arc and after seeing the possible change in tone, I am definitely excited.

The goku black name was written in katakana instead of Kanji, which is probably a fused character name. Also by fusing, current time Goku plus this new Entity, could probably rival even Birusu, which would make it a real threat.

Fusing gives a character half of each fusee's personality though. What kind of being could fuse with Goku and overcome his good nature to become pure evil?

The only thing I can think of is look how much more Vegetto favors Vegeta. He looks like a tall Vegeta with bangs and Gokû's jawline. He's also got Vegeta's name first and then doesn't even use Gokû, but the otto from Kakarrotto instead. Gokû's the nicer of the two of them and Vegeta's genes still win out.

Even Gogeta looks more like Vegeta than Gokû, and he has a 'go' in his name.

If Gokû Black is a fusion maybe Gokû's just not a dominant enough personality to overcome it? Maybe Black doesn't have a normal physical body of sorts. Maybe he's an energy entity like some of the Sailor Moon villains. Maybe Gokû Black is more like Mistress 9 that way.

If the fruit is golden, they become a Kaioshin and if the fruit is black, they are a Makaisohin and are sent to the Demon Realm.

The Demon Realm is not "Hell". The only canon "Hell" was shown with Freeza and those fairies. The Demon Realm is located at the tip of the universe in a different plane of existence. So far, no Makaioshin has ever been revealed officially. Bibidi and Babidi stated that they used the Demon Realm to hide from the East Kaioshin and that Darbura was once its ruler. Towa, while a video game character, is Darbura's sister. Darbura wasn't that strong comparatively though and if he was its ruler, it wouldn't make the Demon Realm that much of a threat. However, that can change with fusion.

Potara earrings and Kaioshin clothing is common to all Kaioshins. We see this even when Gohan pulled out the Z-sword - he wore Kaioshin attire and potarra earrings. Mai, Future Trunks, and Bulma are in a safe place in hiding.

Black didn't travel back in time to fuse with Goku either. He fused with Goku's dead body from Future Trunks' timeline. Even though Goku is dead, his body has been buried. Fusing with a dead character only gives a power-up without a personality change. It was already revealed that Goku, Vegeta, and the rest of the gang will face Black Goku. Hence, Goku will face against himself. If that's true, then Goku from the present could not have been fused with.

Haha, I'm not. I just like theories. This is just part of my full theory. I think Black Goku is only a puppet and that there is a much bigger threat. DBS thus far has all been about the hierarchy of the Gods. When the Omni-King first appeared, everyone bowed down to him including the Gods of Destructions and the Kaioshins. The only people that were of God rank that didn't bow down were Whis and Vados! In fact, they didn't even hesitate to bad mouth Beerus and Champa and talked with the Omni-King casually.

It makes you think how did Whis and Vados get their job? They are stronger than Beerus and Campa yet they take orders from them and are their caretakers. There's a bigger picture behind this. Also, why does Vados always look so sinister? She didn't hesitate about Frost's tactics to win and knew what was going on the whole time. There has to be reason why Vados got introduced as Whis' sister. All Shin-Jins have white hair but Whis and Vados also have white hair. Akira Toriyama hinted that white hair will clash with the next enemy. Is it possible then that Whis and Vados have a father that might be evil and wants the seat of the Omni-King? Maybe Vados is on her fathers' side and is just waiting for an opportunity to free her father who may have been imprisoned by the Omni-King billions of years ago. This could lead to a civil war between the Gods of Destruction with Vados siding with her father and Whis against.

I think there is a lot about Whis and Vados' past that we need to know. With the upcoming multiversal tournament, I hope to see the other Gods of Destructions and possibly a family tree that will tell us more about Whis and Vados as well and Beerus and Champa.

Let's be honest, DBS has been too peaceful thus far. It's quite funny, but there is no major "threat". All fights except for Freeza have been about "food". Even if Universe 7 lost, it wouldn't have affected them as their planet would just simply move to another universe. Black Goku will be the first real threat since Majin Buu. People will die and it will be the first time in a long time where the characters will struggle to become stronger. All universes will be affected so other characters will join in on the fight including Hit as well as new characters we've yet to see.

A lot of questions still remain unanswered. I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Seriously, this looks SO good! BTW, it doesn't even feel like you really re-hashed ANY previous villains' goals here. I mean, your theory of Whis and Vados' dad does seem a BIT similar to Garlic Jr.'s thing, but expanded upon AND done right. Overall, you have a good point that DBS has felt a bit too...peaceful so far. Heck, like you said, Black is more or less Super's first "Super-exclusive" villain. Personally, I don't count Golden Frieza, since Frieza was a Z villain. Honestly, I'm hoping for ALL of the Dragon Team to get involved this time around, and for each of them to start pulling their own weight, similar, if not identical to what everyone did during the Androids/Cell arc.

Ugh, no thanks. To introduce Goku's long-lost brother now would only create more plot holes in the story. I don't want the story to be ruined more than it already was with all these recent retcons.

Based on the new information from Episode 47, I think that the green Kaioshin revealed in the intro is the true villain. He's a survivor of one of the 6 universes that were destroyed by the Omni-King. He can shapeshift that allows him to take the appearance of Goku. This allows him to cloud his intentions from other Gods of Destructions and the Omni-King such that nobody suspects that he's alive. He also obviously has a hatred for Saiyans. Maybe in his universe, the saiyans were all evil.

I'm a little surprised that Black was dodging the shots from Mai's shotgun.

I like the idea of an evil Goku. Basic as all hell but its sort of like having a new turles. My predictions are a bit different with this whole thing, I believe he was sent to earth in universe 6 to help humanity since they explain its just filled with war and corruption and what not, so maybe he bonked his head and forgot his mission and from the evil nature of man Black became evil. But then it doesn't make since how he would be in Trunk's time line because that still takes place in Uni 7 just in a different time. So maybe Black has the ability to jump to different universes.

Whis said omni king destroys evil beings. So i suspect, goku black will be so powerful, even beerus and whis might not stand a chance and then suddenly, omni king arrives to tell the date of the omniversal tournament and destroys goku black.
