What is your checklist for the new coming arc?

Starting episode 47, the show is going to (probably) get a 180 degrees turn. I have a list of things that I am hoping are happening:
1. Improved animation. I think they are going "All In'' with this arc.
2. New BGM.
3. One Main Character dies for good.
4.Demigra plays a role + Mira and Towa.
5. Black has a transformation beyond SSBlue. White hair coming.
6. Beerus doesn't have a major role but knows about Demigra since he is also a God.
7. The show is getting a change in atmosphere to something more deppressing and dark. Similar to GT and The same feeling we OR I got from watching The Future Trunks Movie for the first time.
8. Not Super's last Arc but to be substantially longer than the previous three arcs.

• For Vegeta to be more fatherly towards Future Trunks
• Have Goten and present Trunks do somthing useful
• Piccolo badass moment.

-Follow through. The lack of follow through was what left me disappointed in the Champa arc. If you're going to hint at something, then follow through and do it (Planet Sadla, what Cabba's king looks like, Piccolo and Buu, etc) don't tease something and drop it.
-A genuinely tragic backstory for Gokû Black.
-Also for Gokû Black to be an actual parallel timeline's Gokû rather than someone who happens to look like him. We already had Tullece.
-Same thing with not wanting something to possess Gokû. We already had Garlic Jr, Babidi, Bebi, and Jelleta do similar things to other characters.
-Don't involve Beerus and Whis right away; their presence takes all the tension out of the room like it did in F.
-Begrudging teamwork between Gokû and Vegeta, but no fusion. Fusion's an easy way out imo and both Vegetto and Gogeta aren't as interesting enough to me at the cost of losing Gokû and Vegeta during a battle.
-Future Trunks meeting all the people he impacted the largest amount of positive change on (Gohan, Kid Trunks, Goten, Videl, Pan.)
-No Monaka.
-New Opening song/animation
-New Ending song/animation

1)Trunks gets to be the hero of the arc. I don't like the idea of Trunks coming back at all it is just fanservice.The only thing that will satisfy me is if he saves the day.

2)Improved animation will definitely be good but i doubt it will improve that much.

3)The stupid theory thats been going around for quite a while of Black possessing Gokuu i hope it doesn't happen. I want to see Gokuu interact with Black Gokuu and if done well it will be one of the highlights of the arc for me.

4)Beers gets his ass whooped.

5) Less plotholes and inconsistencies but again i highly doubt it.

A 7/10 arc is all that i want.

- Goku Black being actually Goku and not some evil clone or someone who possesses him
- Goku Black giving a reason for present Goku to get some character development
- Good animation
- A darker tone
- Good BGM. I'm honestly excited for this because I trust Sumitomo a lot with dark soundtracks and the two new ones we've been presented with already deliver
- Future Trunks is useful beyond warning Goku about the new threat
- Someone gets killed off permanently
- Future Bulma or Future Mai getting killed off, can be wished back later
- Monaka and Jaco not being included in the arc at all, they'd kill the serious tone
- Low amount of plot holes, I'm predicting a huge number due to time travel shenanigans and whatnot
- Beerus and Whis are actually neutral figures and NOT saving Goku & co if they fuck up. Alternatively, they could also be outmatched by Goku Black or another enemy. Or just omit them entirely. Just give us a good enough reason to feel tension this arc, is that so hard?
- Omni-King gets some development somehow
- Vegeta and Goku not getting that much of the spotlight until later on
- Gohan continues to be useless, fighting-wise.

Is this what I want, or predictions of what I think will happen. Eh I'll do both.

What I'd like.

1. Future Trunks to be useful. More so than how he wasn't much the last time he was around.
2. Lots of chemistry between Present and Future Trunks.
3. Goku Black to be a Goku not bullshitting. Literally does exactly what Goku does, except people don't bullshit he's a saint. Putting Goku himself into perspective.
4. Not to have the entire arc be dominated by Goku and Vegeta.
5. Heavy Beerus and Whis prominence.
6. Goku Black to be a threat to Beerus and Whis, so they can be involved.
7. Gohan's development to pay off so he can be useful.
8. Keeping things serious, but not without a sense of humour or light hearted breathing moments.
9. Team work to put an end to Goku Black.

What I predict/fear

1. Trunks is a plot catylst and nothing more.
2. Unaddressed plot holes fans will pretend work because it's not GT.
3. Goku and Vegeta show.
4. Gohan remains useless.
5. Monaka somehow ends up saving the day somehow
6. Future Trunks buries the hell out of past Trunks.
7. Goku Black is generic.
8. No character development and the experience has no lasting effect.
9. The elephant of no tension isn't addressed.
10. Goku for the kill.

* For the concept of an evil Gokuu to end up more interesting than it sounds. An overdone idea can still turn out great depending on the execution, after all.
* No video game plots/characters. Admittedly, mainly because I'm not familiar with them, but I'd like to see something new, and not potentially be spoiled due to other people discussing how X character does such and such in the game, and thus we'll already know how certain events play out.
* A good mix of tone. The preview, while super badass, was also quite a jarring shift. I don't mind it being like that some of the time, but I definitely don't want the whole arc to be like that. One of the great strengths of Dragon Ball has always been its ability to have both serious and comedic elements side by side, without either feeling out of place. I hope Toriyama's involvement in the series is heavy enough that he can make sure this happens, because frankly the manga usually managed to pull it off better.
* Character interactions! I can see Trunks' return bringing potential for both gags and touching moments. Like him seeing how much Vegeta has changed, and the two of them having a much less strained relationship than they did when Trunks came back before (would be cool if they did some callback to the parting hand gesture they did when Trunks left...though best case scenario, I'd be happy to see them hug it out :3 But that's probably too much to ask). Trunks could become a cool big brother figure to his younger self. And if Mai comes back with him (which still isn't clear), I'd like her to meet the current Pilaf Gang, and have them just freak out at how badass she is.
* For the timeline stuff to make sense. I get nervous about Toriyama saying things will get complicated, because that just leads to more potential timeline screwups. Starting from when Battle of Gods couldn't even get Bulma and Mai's ages right, and going right up until now when it's not even clear when Super is taking place (since we can't assume it follows the movie's continuity), it doesn't inspire confidence that everything will fit as it should. I hope that Toriyama (or anyone on the staff) went over his existing timelines and made sure this new plot will somehow make sense with everything else...
* I don't expect a new opening song, but I hope the animation changes to reflect the new arc.

I doubt we've seen the last of Universe 6.

1. Future Trunks having decent interactions with Vegeta, Future Mai, Present Trunks, and Gohan.

2. Future Trunks being happy that Gohan was able to grow up to doing what he loved instead of what Future Gohan had to go through.

3. At the same time, Future Trunks could push Gohan to train seriously so that his friends and family don't die like they did in the future

4. Not killing off Future Burma in the first episode of the arc. It kind of looks like she might in the NEP.

5. Alternatively, maybe some rule where characters die permanently while in Future Trunks' timeline

6. Serious tone obviously

7. An interesting story for Goku Black instead of the usual "I'm going to rule the universe because I'm evil"

8. Minimal Beerus and Whis involvement

9. Show Cabba and Universe 6 fighters training? Maybe just one scene but I'd to at least see them

10. Introduce a Makaioshin

There's just so much I want to see in Dragon Ball and I feel that this arc is an easy way to introduce some elements we've never seen before

- Whether he is fused or will fuse, I want the controlling consciousness to be the same as always (meaning if Black Goku fuses afterwards I still want Black Goku to remain, in case he is already a fused Goku then I just want it to be the evil consciousness of whoever planned it), I just do not want another individual to be the enemy in the middle of the battle as that would essentially destroy the life of the villain to be replaced by another one that consists of him and someone else and that is not what a villain is out for.

- I want this saga to not exaggerate too much with its causality paradoxes, it can do a bit but at least a few things should stay

- I want the saga to not be another "oh yeah we are the gods we could easily defeat those but we do not" saga

- I want Alternate Trunks to have some more story

- I want him to interact with our Trunks

- I do not want it to be some 10 episodes and done saga

-I want it to be at least decent enough to deserve being eagerly awaited by me
