The coloring and shading of the hair when he didn't have his aura up was weird, it didn't match the rest of the show, it doesn't help that the shots with his aura down weren't drawn the best.

Black Goku looks more like Goten to me. Plus he has sleeves, something Goten always has.

I really feel like they went back to their old gi's because of Black Goku, Goku's F gi is similar to Black's and Vegeta's had a similar color pallet.

You're crazy if you think this is just as bad as some of the worst shots shown in episode 5.

Using the new palette that is debuting in today's episode to replace Goku's skin and clothing colors makes it look a lot better.
Then I shifted the hair color a tiny bit away from green and more towards blue.
I think it looks fine, the main issue I have with it now is just that the hair isn't colored and shaded properly, and that god awful lime green sky making everything look worse.
Hopefully since we're getting a new palette they pick a more blue color for Super Saiyan Blue.

What if you used the 2008 special palette?
Goku's skin could be less reddish, but I think this design is so much better than the one now.

5 more hours and we'll finally get the 1st ep of this arc.
If Goku black does kill Bulma I hope toei pulls a drama card for it, like while Goku black is choking Bulma to death Bulma then remembers Goku as a kid and tears up.

That's even IF Black isn't only an entity before becoming Goku Black, which I assume will happen after he follows Mirai Trunks into the past.

I hope they end up "picking" purple hair. It's fantastic that Toriyama is the original author who "has right to change whatever he feels like", but basic regard for artistic consistiency is fully justified expectation from fans.

Questions about hair colors will be answered in a few hours from now. We would know if he dyed his hair or they are just going with the blue design.

It's a trailer, and if Toei felt like going back to purple they could've re-coloured the hair this morning before sending the final files for airing

With all this new promotional art with the lavender hair you can think that just the preview has blue hair...
