Hey I just bought the movie DBZ Lord Slug on DVD. The box says uncut with running time of 62 minutes. I played the movie and its only 50 minutes. Since I bought it used at EB Games, I think that they might have given me the wrong disk.
Can someone who has the uncut version play it and check its running time. I'd appreciate any help.

it's 50 minutes on mine, too. I mean, from the start where is shows a shot of the sun rising (or setting) and the birds chirping to the end of the credits.

If it has the Japanese audio track on it, it's uncut. I think that's about all I need to say.

Yeah, mine's Japanese, so I guess the 62 was just a misprint.

Maybe it has a 62 minute runtime including all of the extras and such. Knowing FUNimation, the extras are probably trailers for their other animes, and their website.

All I can say is don't trust the runtimes it says on the back of their boxes. They're more often than not, wrong.

Yes, but usually it shows a runtime LOWER than what it actually is. Like season 1 says "OVER 900 MINUTES OF UNCUT ACTION!" where it is 930 I believe.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

The other problems stem from FUNimation using the same template for covers, hence the problems with the runtimes (and the constant nudity warnings).
