I doubt it is just Goku who went crazy... I somehow have the feeling it may be some evil spirit or whatever taken form of Goku for whatever reasons.

But what about the Potara or the Kaioshin? I'm really so hyped seeing who he is

If it wasn't for his earring, I would say he is a Tsufurujin or has somewhat similar background as Xicor. A warrior created from Goku's DNA.

Heart virus will probably be it in the end I think. Putting the body into hybernation/gestation stage for many years etc. Virus is already canon and it serves as a good excuse. And it would make sense Bulma was able to cure PresentGoku of it in early stage. For FutureGoku it was too late.

With his possible connection to a kaioshin, Black Goku gives me a very AF Xicor vibe.

With that in mind I would say he's either a clone or a reincarnation of this timelines Goku created by this unknown kaioshin for reasons yet to be revealed.

Same. I'm seeing "It's Goten" way too much. I don't get it, there's zero evidence for it and plenty of evidence against it (Goten was never born because Goku got the heart virus, Goten stops having Goku's hair when he grows up). Did some kind of clickbaiter make a video about it or something? I've even seen a "I've read the manga and it's Goten" lie. How did this happen?

There were DBs before Piccolo was killed. And who said anything about BoG needing to happen? Please, rewatch the movie (or the episodes). The Pilaf gang used the DBs before BoG, not during the movie!

So your saying there was a double of everyone from universe 6 and 7 in one of the 6 destroyed universes. That could explain Goku Black's origin but not why he is after Trunks. Every theory that is going around does not explain why he is after Trunks.

...what? I'm saying that I don't see a reason for "Future Goten" to not change his hair. Goten isn't a full-blooded saiyan, after all, so his hair shouldn't stay the same forever like a full-blooded saiyan's hair would. His hair would naturally grow, and it would have to be a conscious effort to have his hair stay the same. The amount of hairstyles Gohan goes through is the best example of this I can think of. I'm saying that I don't see why "Future Goten" would go through the effort to make his hair look the same as Goku's when he can't have met Future Goku, since he's dead and Goten wouldn't be able to just walk on in to the Other World to see him. This is why I think it's evidence against it being "Future Goten".
