What happens when Masako Nozawa passes away in the future?

Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

Although I'd rather focus on what she's achieving now while she's alive, it'd be a very sad day.

I feel as though if she were to pass (god forbid), Goku would pass along with her.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

They're gonna have to replace everyone in the Japanese voice cast within the next 10 years probably. Aren't they all over 50?
Also, I had no idea King Kai's VA retired...

Hopefully Super ends within 5 years time at the most so it won't be an issue. She'll be 85 by then so I think that's a good time to end the series.
Thats nonsensical! Dragonball franchise should not just be revolved around Goku or Nozawa you know that! Or do you want to remember Goku's voice as being of some annoying pissed off old lady? Just because its original doesn't mean its better.

Nozawa always seemed to be a very nice lady whenever I've seen her in interviews and I don't think she ever portrayed her characters as such. :?

No one ever said she was better than whatever you're referring to :? Also, most people are actually gonna remember that "annoying pissed off old lady" as Goku.

Thats because her original role began playing as kid Goku. Eventually the show moved on and Goku was an adult! Where they going to replace the actor? From the grown fame and popularity of Nozawa's voice probably not. So now your basically stuck with her voice trying to portray a grown up male that sounds like an old lady. Which over years her voice began to sound even more cringe. Just go and watch some old recordings of Goku during Frieza saga and compare them to how Goku sounds like in Super. Big Difference Imo

I'm not really interested in debating this with you, but I'll leave it at "I disagree".

We have a moment of sadness and then grow unreasonably bitter towards the one who replaces her, like everyone else. Pretty simple, it's not like the show would collapse when losing one VA.
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:
