Anyways to actually take the topic back to the actual topic at hand. Anyone think this is just an oversight, or are they really trying to tell us he always had blue hair. Kinda like how Tights just showed up out of nowhere, and we're supposed to just go with it.

I see it as the first. Especially since in other promotion we still have a purple Trunks. Easier to see a dialogue flub then several promotion errors.

Because Bulma changes her hair as if it were her wardrobe. Also a big difference when she hasn't seen the future son in years.

It is a show for children allright... but yeah, the hair bugs me a little, but mostly for nostalgia. It is so weird to see him with blue hair, but well, it can be just a pallete swap.
Goku is tanned like he was lying in solar booth for a week in GT as well.

I would guess that they were thinking of blue and green, since the existence of a dedicated word for the color green is a relatively recent addition to the Japanese language.
