Why do they seem to be pushing Mai x Trunks?

Why on earth do people have a problem with this ship? Mai is a kid now, who cares? Its a cute ship.

Seriously, the way people try to find something creepy about what is intended to essentially be a fun gag and cute pairing is absurd.

Because she's a 50 something-year-old woman lusting after a kid who's young enough to pass as her grandson?

It's not like Mai was reverted completely to a child, as in, in mind and body. She remembers everything from before like being a grown ass adult. Its wrong, its creepy and its fucking hilarious.

People keep saying she's 'lusting' after him - show us exactly one moment where she's 'lusting' after him.

This is Mai, the girl that got embarrassed about holding hands. Lust is not in her vocabulary. :P

They really are though. Bringing her back was kinda pointless, and if anything, if she was gonna get a man, she could've gotten the single dude with a floating, shape shifting cat instead of a small boy or a man who has better things to do than screw around with a girl in a post-apocalyptic future. Other than that, there's really no point in their relationship. Although I'm thinking it's because Goten had a lady in GT, so they decided to give one to Trunks, for some reason.
Trunks: These androids are ruthless, they delight in causing pain and chaos.
Living on Earth in my time is like living in a nightmare. Always running and hiding and looking for a way out.

Yeah, now Goten needs a girlfriend too since Palace (is that her name?) has been wiped from existence. Maybe Lanfang? Ahh, yeah :wink: Kidding, I'm kidding. What is Goten doing in this entire series? Is kid Trunks and kid Mai an actual thing in Super outside of the Battle of Gods arc?

Lanfan (Linfoun? How are you supposed to adapt a name that comes from 'lingerie' and 'foundation', anyway?) was supposedly married to, ironically enough, a guy named Trunks.

Clearly a Future Trunks from a different timeline decides that the Future is too destroyed to save, packs things up, and moves to the distant past. He decides to go to the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai just to watch because he wants to see what Goku's first tournament fight was like, and while he's watching he sees Lanfan's fight with Nam and...well...who wouldn't be interested after that?
