The wound heal thing was only in the show and its never come back (surprise surprise)
I don't want them to have it anyhow because really, do Goku & Vegeta need Piccolo-esque healing factors too?

Spoiler:
Absolute Zamasu(my name for their fusion) wins. He fulfils his utopia and dwells in his loneliness(x amount of time for this to happen). He starts to doubt of his achievements, Goku's body influences him to seek out challenges but there's nothing. Perfection becomes a curse. Absolute Zamasu starts to dread his existence and presents himself to the Omni-King, detailing on his actions.
Using his powers the Omni-King restores everything to the moment before Goku and Vegeta perish, humanity's last barrier. Zamasu concedes. He ask for forgiveness(mainly to Goku, Gowasu and Trunks) and understands that his justice isn't justice at all. He asks for judgement and the Omni-King delivers.
Trunks is forced never to travel in time ever again, all the time-machines are destroyed.

Oh right! and not really they are already OP, If the SSG wasn't just a one-off for Hit in the manga, I could see SSG playing a crucial part in a later transformation which will cause Vegeta to have to obtain it.
The official, Korean IQ Jump twitter account posted an images of their Super manga materials. Interestingly, they replaced the "cho" kani with hangul. So I can't help but wonder what might befall our logo when we get it?

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

As expected, the pacing was quite rushed for the latest chapter, but it was a decent enough take on the fight. I liked the battle damage on Hit at the end.

I feel the same, but I'm glad the manga had a different perspective. I always found interesting when we have the main product and the adaptation telling the same story differently. It was a pleasant surprise to see how he worked with Goku different upgrades. He did justice for Vegeta too.

Yeah.. When I started reading this thread in those moments I refrained myself about making any comment. Too much lack of comprehension and harsh posts. Basically, you said everything I've wanted to say. Count on me to congratulate @TheDevilsCorpse's contributions.
And thank you, Toyotaro, to have brought Super Saiyan God again! I missed him. I hope kaioken will have some use further in the story.

This comment makes me ponder what the draft originally said. Surely Toriyama didn't write, "Goku uses his red form against Hit. I forget what it's called, but you know what I mean.", and both productions had their own take on that!

This is totally canon

White Oni wrote:In the animation it's implied that base goku/vegeta are nearly as strong as BoG SsjG Goku, if not stronger.
We have this confirmed in several places, one being slime base vegeta completely stomping ssj3 gotenks.
What I want to know is, is there anything indicating they're this strong in base, in the manga? Because that's an enormous divergence, if not, and in light of SsjG form still being a thing, it seems like that may be the case.
Besides Goku having a silhouette of God appear behind him in the F manga there's nothing that says these guys are anywhere close to SSG power in base or in Super Saiyan. Goku only fights Beerus in SSG in the manga.
I'd think that Goku not getting immediately taken out by SSB Vegeta or Hit would indicate that. He took a hit from SSB Vegeta in their training and stood up immediately afterwards. Later on, Base Goku in the manga faced Hit exactly like in the anime too. Of course, you can go with "they were holding back", but that's not very convincing without anything to indicate that in the manga.
Well, Hit was holding back, but still at a level where he could take hits from a SSJ God without getting destroyed. And obviously Vegeta wasn't intending to kill him, but the idea that he'd jump to SSB, and yet only use an attack on SSJ level, for example, is completely baseless. There's no reason to not take those scenes at face value.

Eh, not necessarily. Hit can sense power and apparently has issues with holding himself back, him not immediately taking out Goku can easily get explained away by him holding back to avoid accidentally losing by delivering a killing blow. Wouldn't be the first time a stronger opponent dropped his power for a weaker one, Cell's a good example of this. Goku's IT Kamehameha wouldn't do jack to Cell if he was at max power but suppressed and taken by surprise? Gave him some good damage.
Vegeta using Blue on him is weird but I think that was Vegeta just trying to goad Goku into a battle at their strongest, which worked until Goku bit his tongue

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.
