Oh man, I love this artist's Dumb RWBY series. So glad they did a Dragon Ball comic!
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

I just noticed that it took Goku to use both of his fingers this time around and only one the last time.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Wouldn't Vegita be killed the moment their fingers make contact? :)
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

The writers of Dragon Ball Super on all power related topics:

When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

TBH, I'd like things to stay that way, giving the middle finger to power level fanatics has been the thing to happen in DBSuper and in the franchise, period.

Oh, I'd definitely like it if it was intentionally made to troll them but I don't get the sense that's what they're doing. If they had Goku use Blue then instantly get dropped like a chump without even fighting Golden Freeza, that'd probably be some solid evidence for intentional trolling.

Power consistency has nothing to do with power levels and is a sign of good writing. If Ronald Weasley was suddenly much more magically powerful than Mcgonagall without a very good explanation, every Harry Potter fan would think that it was a very poor development.

I'm not a power fanatic by any means but I just ask for some coherence or explanations. DBZ power scaling didn't make sense at times but at least you knew would could/couldn't beat who in a simple scale

This is the only thing we need to know about power levels.
