Can anybody identify this DBZ game??

Post by EvilHero » Fri Feb 23, 2007 3:58 am

This has been driving me nuts.

I was on the Japanese official site for Dragon Ball Z: Harukanaru Goku Densetsu when I stumbled across a small section of the site that shows the history of the card battle rpgs.

http://www.bandaigames.channel.or.jp/li ... /card.html

I've recognized/played all the games shown except the last one... It has a '2003' labeled over the image.

Does anybody know what DBZ game this is?

On 20 July 2003, Daizenshuu EX wrote:For the two of you in North America that actually own a WonderSwan and haven't already played the game on your NES emulators... Bandai of Japan has announced they will be releasing a new DragonBall game for the WonderSwan Crystal on November 6th of this year. The game, "DragonBall: Legend of Goku," is actually a remake of the game by the same name for the Famicom. It is a card-battle game, similar to many of the other DragonBall games released in Japan. Thanks to The Magic-Box for the news blurb.

The game was actually the third NES game released for the DragonBall franchise. To read more about it, check out SuperPope's review of the game in its original NES format.
The WonderSwan (and its following revisions) were big systems for remakes, in Japan. It's more or less where all the hub-bub over Final Fantasy remakes got started (ignoring the PS1 ports).

If I remember right (which I might not), the Wonderswan game was a remake of the Famicom DB3, right?
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!
