For reasons that have to do with a rather catastrophic sequence of events in my personal and family life in the latest years, culminated in one final, absolute collapse, I will very soon find myself not only unable to post here - or anywhere else -, but, in fact, come to the internet, follow any developments or events related to Dragonball, movies, football, news, even my work, whatever. Quite in fact, my life will either suffer a drastic change in terms of lifestyle or come to an abrupt and newsworthy end.

I cannot tell you or express in words how hard this final blow is, the fact that I won't be able to feel the wonderful sensation of feeling myself to be a part of an entire community or army of millions of fans wondering, thinking, theorizing, discussing and loving exactly the same thing at exactly the same time, as I expressed days before, but believe me when I say that, as the process of becoming temporarily or permanently unable to feel this is virtually unbearable and highly distressing emotionally, the fact that I Kanzenshuu provided me with the opportunity to feel it makes me thankful.

It's flop if they did that. Path to Power was one of the lowest grossing movies itself.

Nah I definitely don't think they'd go that route. If there's gonna be any retelling they'd turn the Champa arc into a movie and that wouldn't do aswell as the previous two movies either.

They tried turning a arc into a movie with two of the One Piece movies and they also flopped.

I'm sure it'd be an original story but whether Toriyama would write it if he's busy with Super I don't know. If someone else writes it he at least needs to do the character designs.

Anything but an original canonical story with Toriyama's involvement is going to be a big step backwards.

Yeah, just a little bit of info in that tidbit. Black suddenly appears in the present and begins fighting with Gokuu. As they're raising their power and the battle's heating up, Black notices the time machine.

So I guess we can infer that Black seeing the time machine is going to be significant...will he just recognize it as the method Trunks used to escape him, or will he do something about it (like destroy it)?

With this bit of new information my guess is the time machine gets destroyed by Black. Would fit in with the "path to the future" being closed.

I have a hard time believing that anyone in Toei staff cares about Pilaf Gang more than Toriyama himself.
He's the one that brought them back. Toei would never do it, at least to this extent.

They didn't even bother to show them in Champa arc, while Toyotaro did.
Toei just don't have the chance to completely take them out because they either are linked to the arc plot, and/or Toriyama probably would be pissed. It's not their fault.

It's not a huge deal, but the one thing that irritates me about the whole Goku Black scenario is the time machine schtick.

Trunks just got done surviving an apocalyptic world. Being that Bluma, at least, is supposed to be super intelligent, one would assume they would charge the time machine again while enjoying their newfound peace, just in case something bad were to happen again.

Matter of fact, Trunks took back the one he found Cell's cocoon in as well, so charge BOTH time machines, just to have a spare in case something goes wrong with the first one. Put one in storage for safekeeping, and keep the other one on your person, in case of emergency. Could have kept both Bluma and Mai from dying...

Sabat updated his Super status to "WAIT FOR IT!" hopefully that's a good sign of the dub announcement soon since Viz is doing the manga now. Sabat's status is usually "nothing yet" or "don't know".
