Glad Super isn't in CGI

While they are parts when Super look really crappy, and I'm not big fan of it, I'm so glad they didn't overused CGI like in newest Berserk anime, just watched 1st episode, and boy does it look bad, and..if you look at Myanimelist, you gonna find at least few reviews already, and some people recommend t as comedy of 2016

I agree with everything you said. Also the last time I check Myanimelist Super had a rating of 7.2/10. That score is going to shoot up due the recent episodes based on my predictions.

What score does the new Berserk anime have? Cause the Berserk manga is a 1000/10

Japan just sucks at CG. They are like 15 years behind us with CG. I mean the CG used in the Kamen Rider, Super Sentai and 2000's Godzilla movies do look like ass. Space Battleship Yamato is the movie from Japan that I seen has good looking CG in my opinion.

CG is pretty terrible-looking in Japanese cartoons, yes. I would argue that Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete are the best outings in Japanese CG, however, and easily outpace the use of CG in Hollywood films. The cinematography in those films always blow my mind.

Appleseed Alpha look great as far as CG anime films go too. I haven't seen FF7: AC in ages. I have no idea if the animation still looks good now or not.

Honestly, any Squeenix video looks amazing. FFX came out in 2001, and the FMV's are still beautiful.

The Blood Vengeance fight between Devil Jin and Kazuya is actually pretty close to what I'd always imagined a CGI Dragon Ball fight scene would be like.

Honestly, any Squeenix video looks amazing. FFX came out in 2001, and the FMV's are still beautiful.

Tidus seemed a but off model in the FMV's but they really are beautiful. I remember playing FFX and seeing the amazing FMV's. It seemed so real to me as a kid and they definitely hold up even today.

The forest fight scene has the most incredible, break-neck pacing. There's an incredible amount of information conveyed, but it's shot elegantly. The cinematography actually makes the scene tiring to watch because of how easy it is for the eyes and mind to absorb the energy.

I can't speak for Berserk yet, but a lot of people always dismiss any series that uses non-traditional animation without even trying it, which i find a huge mistake. I say if the content is good, you get used to it. I mean, Sidonia, Ajin and Kingdom were all pretty solid anime and got many fans among people who gave them a chance.

I think using CGI in any series is a bad idea cause it only looks good when companies have a really high budget and that kind of budget can only be obtained for movies.

That's because they don't have big enough budgets to produce better CG, not because Japanese production companies are incapable of it.
