I've seen this sentiment for other manga's/shows. If you want the show to end, just stop watching it. Don't wish for something that could ruin it for other people.

I'm with you. It's very petty to wish it to end, if one doesn't like it. It's not like the show is forced upon people, like that scene from A Clockwork Orange.

I don't quite agree. I don't really see anything wrong about wanting a show to end, because you don't like it. I mean I can't count the number of people who want Teen Titan Go to end, despite it being very successful. I do agree that there's no point in conversing on the show if there's nothing good to say, but it depends on direction I suppose. If you're not a fan of the direction or tone of something, it's not gonna change if it's successful. What you favoured will be gone. For some, it's pretty hard to let go of a series you like, but has gone in a direction you hate. I can speak from experience. Though I don't watch those shows I hate.

Or maybe is there somewhere to access this info on the main Kanzenshuu site (I see that the staff has listed the title for the next episode, but that's all I've been able to find)? Seems like it would be useful to have it organized and in one place.

Yes and I appreciate that. I only come on once every few days or so and so I miss them a lot as they come in, and this thread moves pretty quickly in terms of # of pages, so it takes some time to find them.

While I understand the feeling, it's selfish and petty. There's a lot of people watching it, most likely enjoying it since it's still in the air. It's fine to criticize it and even trying to change it, by contacting people of the show and voicing the concerns. But if people can't change it and dislike it to such a point; don't watch it.
Wishing it to end is just being the nasty kid who destroys other people's sand castles.

People can still preserve what they loved about Dragon Ball, some act like Super is gonna change what has been done.

There isn't anything wrong with wishing a show to end. It's selfish yes, petty sure, but it's not like it has any actual effect on the show itself. The most they can do, is civilly enlighten why it may be bad, or doing something wrong. The only time I really see wishing a show to end being bad, is if that individual is an asshole who goes around pestering people who do like the show, and ruining their good time. Preaching is fine so long as it's not just shoving that preaching in everyone's face. I wish for some shows to end too, but I'm not gonna go bug a bunch of people who like them. I feel the same about directions I hate, but again, still don't see much of a gain by spreading hatred.

Oh I agree with you entirely on that. I don't really see a point in contributing something like that. It's too objective. I can vouch for leaving areas where I'd pretty much shit on something, because I could never separate my unbridled hatred, with fairness.

Makes me wonder why they didn't botther with episode 24 at all.

It's a shame that they didn't, anyway I don't care much about "Super birthday" I really hope this series ends real soon and stop embarrassing the franchise (not talking about profit), don't know how long I could tolerate "dumber and fight horny" Goku, "grumpy but sometimes kawaii" Vegeta, Beerus, Whis, Champa etc with their stupid food shenanigans and of course Pilaf Gang Kids

"Dumb" Goku at least seems to have mostly disappeared under this new script writer that we got for the Trunks arc. Battle horny Goku is here to stay though, since it's pretty clear Toriyama really wants to avoid Toei creating a "super hero Goku" again like in the old movies and so that aspect of his character is highlighted a lot.

I do wonder how some of you ever stood watching Dragonball/Z though. I generally agree with the criticism regarding the Pillaf gang in the Super anime, but even the fairly inoffensive scene of them putting out a fire in the newest episode got met with outright hate by a lot of people here. It really seems like you dislike any kind of humor removing the "seriousness" of the series, and the only reason the old shows get away with it is nostalgia.

Didn't piccolo have to explain everything that future trunks told goku because goku wasn't smart enough to do it?

Wasn't that because Goku was reluctant to say anything? I don't remember it being cause he was too stupid...or maybe the dub just changed that scene and I forgot.

Piccolo had to tell everyone what Trunks told Goku because Goku didn't how to disclose the information to everyone without jeopardizing Trunks's birth. Goku also forgot the details on where the Androids would show up too. As far as understanding what they were though, he did. Thats why he asked what happened to him in the future, and Trunks replies with the whole heart virus deal.

The direction the plot is looking most of our characters are going to the future soon. I doubt there will be much room for humor in a burning wasteland where everyone is starving and eating cat food. Hoping we get some serious fight-heavy episodes at that point. Then after the arc a time skip and it could go back to light hearted while it shows everyone grown a little. Than the universal tourney. Also at some point we've gotta see Planet Salad right? I'm I'm the group that thinks they may make that their next movie. Would be pretty easy to make a stand alone plot that could fit with super. I also think a movie is the only way they could give the time/detail they'd need to pull off a Planet Salad without disappointing everyone. A whole planet of Saiyans in HD at the IMAX would be awesome irregardless of the plot.

Trunks kept things simple. I came from the future, some androids killed everyone, you die of a virus, you need to stop it. Simple stuff.

Here, Beerus and Whis went into detail about how the time ring works that confused people here and other forums, so I don't see why Goku being confused is seen as him being dumb.
