This game is fun, but it's freakin impossible.
I almost beat Tao Pai Pai once... almost.

I've always enjoyed the DragonBall Z legends style in which that game played.I almost wish the cut scenes would be translated, it looks as though there was some pretty funny scenes in there (Chi-Chi's explanation of her story comes to mind). This game's cutscenes haven't been subtitled at all has it? I mean if the Playdia games managed to get a translation why not this?

I bet. I can tell by watching these clips that the game isn't easy, like Legends. Still, I wish I could play it. I've had the game for years, but I've never managed to pick up a PC Engine. Damn things are expensive as hell!
NeptuneKai, I have no clue on whether or not a translated/subtitled version was made. But seriously though, you shouldn't need them. There probably saying the same exact phrases that they did during the same point in time during the series. It's not worth the trouble of translating. The Playdia games are another story. They deserved to be subtitled.

Wow, it looks like the early roots of the Budokai series.

Call me crazy, but I think it looks better than the Budokai series. I love NEO-GEOish 2D Graphics.

I can't agree with you more Sebastian. I'm a fanatic of 2D fighters, and this game right here is almost my dream come true. The in-game graphics are solid, the gameplay is lightning fast and the ability to jump into the backgrounds is a nice touch. The soundtrack is awesome too. The only thing they left out was Majin Buu, but this game was made before the Buu Saga.
Like I mentioned before, I'd love to be able to play this game. But I don't have the loot to spend on a Turbo Duo. My only other option is to mod my XBox and grab the rom.

VERY NICE!
I've always wanted to check this game out but never had the chance. The battle system seems pretty interesting, although I wish you could at least JUMP. I like the "tug-of-war" bar idea, it's pretty neat.
Thanks for the videos, I forgot about this game completely!

You're certainly welcome.
Have you played
Legends for the Psone yet? That game used the same exact tug-of-war energy bar idea too.

That's the only PSOne game I haven't brought over yet. I hear it's the best too! I'll look into it!

It looks cool. It would be great if they made it on Wii or something with top notch animation.
