So we just got confirmation that next week is indeed Kitano. Let's hope the episode is largely the quality of the preview, then!

Kitano, Yashima, Ishikawa, Shimanuki... and then either Tate or Onishi/Toma will pop up. Hopefully the latter. Tate should be busy on a big episode, hopefully.

I would also like to see Takamura Kaoru, Nobuzane Setsuko and the other Shimanuki back again. Probably these 3 will be involved with the regulars, because I don't think they will be doing the episodes all by themselves obviously. Oh there's also Ken Otsuka.

Wow, the Kami Sama Explorer website just uploaded this picture. It is said that this scene is from the episode 52 of Dragon Ball Super.
Could it be fake? Because i can't see any similar frame from any dragon ball games/movies/oav.
Judging by it's quality,I dont think that's real. What do you guys think?

It makes sense if future trunks is reminiscing about future gohan. Also, super has definitely had scenes as good looking as that. Only problem is that this is a Yashima episode so I doubt it'd look that good

We'll probably see Future Gohan in the next episode's preview. We might be actually pretty cool if it turns out to be real, I kinda wasn't expecting them to remember him (maybe Xenoverse 2 marketing over him is the reason they remembered him ). But it's good to know and see that Future Gohan may appear again.

It's always possible that that could be a frame from Xenoverse 2's opening, but it wouldn't actually be the first time a shot from an upcoming episode came out before it aired.

That sure is a Yashima nose and ear. Interesting. I wonder what the source is -- did they mine Toei's website?

It may well be another KA that's been corrected as ArchedThunder points out, and I do think that's the most likely case, but Yashima is also a very competent animator who also can draw on-model if he wants. He began developing his own (unpleasant) style fairly late into the series, but if you look back at scenes in episode 9, 15 and 22, you can see they're perfectly fine.

He's a really good animator -- if he wasn't, he wouldn't be able to solo entire episodes as he's been doing. His action cuts in episode 46 were actually pretty nice, so presuming he's not soloing the episode, I wouldn't worry too much.

Key animator hands his work in, Yashima scribbles a few corrections over the top of it so it fits with the rest of the episode, and... now it looks like him.

I still want to know where that image came from. That nose looks weirdly photoshopped, but I also don't recognise the rest of the image from anywhere.

Satsuki Aizu was also a key animator, but just about, yeah. Though I do think those first three episodes had hands from all over touching them just to get them finished.

Not really sure why it changed, honestly. The best thing I can come up with is that he wanted a signature look to his episodes -- much like Tate -- where you know it's his work just by a certain unique feature. In this case, it's his extremely pointy noses.

The rest isn't massively different, but it all feels a lot more unrefined these days.

I really dislike the way Yashima draws Goku's regular hair now, it's especially bad in 40 and 46. I'd be a lot more pleased if he just went back to doing the noses and Goku's hair like he used to.
Also are you sure that's a Yashima nose on that Future Gohan picture? It looks way too small to me to be Yashima.
