I'd be fine with that. It'd be kind of cute to have a son of Goku with the daughter of his longtime friend Kuririn. That and they have had a nice handful of really adorable scenes of Goten playing with her in Super so far.

I may or may not be biased in this regard though since I do kind of have them together in a fic.

I wouldn't feel too bad about it - I don't think I ever really shipped those characters together, but I never had a problem with the ships back then either. Character ages and how long time skips were (particularly between Z and GT) were some of the most unclear, unreported things a lot of us ran into back in the early days of our fandom. Not sure if it was that way online even prior to the Toonami era of fandom, which I harken from, and it just persisted, or if it's something that set in after that, though.

Sure, they can pair up Goten and Marron, I wouldn't have a problem with that, but Goten x Valese in GT is just fine, and maybe even better than Goten x Marron. Introducing someone just to have her be a main character's love interest might be a little weird, but it can be done well (see Buu arc Videl). I'm sure they'd be able to write a canon Valese into the story in an okay way if they tried.
I'm not on the same page as you guys when it comes to Goten x Bulla, though. That ship always bothered me. Bulla was 8/9 in GT, so it's straight up paedophilia. Trunks x Pan has the exact same problem, since they're one year older than Goten and Bulla respectively. The only reason I'm fine with Trunks x Mai is that Mai has been wished young, and the wish seems to impact her personality, so she both acts and looks younger than she is (much like Marron erroneously does, coincidentally). And in the future they're both adults, so there it doesn't matter anyway.

This. As I've also already said before, I don't have anything against Goten x Marron, but I see Goten x Valese working just as well, if not much more better than that. In the event that Valese is written into DBS' storyline, I can see her working as long as they implement her correctly. Honestly, I feel like her introduction in DBGT wasn't too bad. Could have been done a little better, but overall, I think Valese's introduction into DBGT was still pretty good by the show's standards, IMO. Maybe they shouldn't make her TOO ditzy, so as to relax the fanbase a it though. Still, I will say Valese, IMO, is LEAGUES better than Krillin's ex-girlfriend.

Also, I really do NOT see Goten x Bulla working out. Heck even I found Bulla's..."attire" in DBGT to be nothing short of VERY unfitting for her age. I won't lie, it even took me about 6-7 years before I learned that in DBGT, she's only 9-12 years old. For the record, I thought Bulla was like, 15-17 years old before I figured out the truth. It really would be straight up pedophilia at its greatest between them. Same goes for Trunks x Pan as well. Also, I agree with Alruneia about Trunks x Mai. There are a couple of circumstances which sort of make that ship not too unsettling.
