Sure, I was just wondering if we would hear a "We have recieved entries", or "we are working on watching them!". I don`t even know if they recieved my entry xD I know it`s gonna take a while, I just was wondering if the process had started yet!

Why Lani? Taka did the voice last time. They also got Kirbopher who helps out on some lip flaps and other images to do a voice too.

Too be honest I didn't really like Taka being directed to purposely be worse. Yeah SA2 had shitty direction considering it was japanese voice directors for an english cast, but it kinda just makes em look unintentionally biased.

Death Battle is honestly trash, not just for how poor their research and arguments are most of the time, but for how they manipulate the outcomes of fights to promote other media (the worst offender of this was Yang vs. Tifa, I am no expert but I have seen very convincing arguments that Yang would stand no chance, and DB only made her win to promote RWBY). Then there is the upcoming one which is just to hype RvB, and the creator of DB basically said that anyone who dislikes their choices for the matches is not a 'real fan'.

I wasn't referring to the voice acting. I was referring to Taka's...dancing.

Nah, Death Battle is total trash. Their whole deal is cherry picking feats from across incarnations and taking the most illogical interpretations of vague scenes possible to get their preferred result, which is usually "character who looks weaker wins". There's a reason why every forum that focuses on its same premise considers it lol-worthy, and that anyone who tries to parrot its arguments gets ripped apart in those forums.

It doesn't matter though. Their videos are well-edited (which matters for SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA), so people think they know what they're talking about.

If another show came out with animators just as good or better than Death Battle they wouldn't have such a hold on the community with their word being seen as gospel to some. They loss a lot of respect from me with screwing over Shadow twice and what they did in the Goku/Superman rematch.

I would love a show that doesn't make characters OOC just to fight but that's for another topic.

So I forget, when do we get to know of the TIBA finalists or at least who gets in the next round? I forget how long the contest goes on for.

Also 1 month later, and only 33%. Wonder if some kind of snag occurred, or it's something big coming up. Is it episode 54...or could it be the fabled Wen Broli.

I think something like this is most likely. Summer is travel season, so it might be difficult to get the team together and write/record what they need. And if Kaiser is gone, no editing either.

Also, WEN BROLY is after Episode 54, I think. They've gotta have Cell announce the games and thus the 10-day gap, and have Goku and Gohan come out of the Hypertonic Lion Tamer so that Gohan can go SSJ in the movie... not that continuity like that really matters there.

I wonder what Abridged Broly will be like? When me and my friends tried to come up with our own take on it, we figured he should actually be really smart, and that Goku's stupidity would be the reason for the "KAKAROT!"-s. He'd actually get along pretty well with Gohan.

(The attacks on Gohan could be Broly trying to teach him to dodge?) But that's just our take. I know the team will make it fun whether they go our way or not.

The different ideas I have heard for Broly include:

- Don't change him at all, have him the same way he was originally but have the characters with their abridged personalities react to him
- Make him a proper English gentleman
- Make him a pro wrestler
- Make him completely peaceful and he only hurts people by accident since he doesn't know his own strength

I can promise as long as TFS doesn't leave his normal personality in tact I will be doing a special edition version adding normal Broly back in. Now if that gets released to the public or not is a different story.

Between cons and vacations, they never get shit done in the summer. Plus, the completion meter is non-canon.

Probably won't get anything in July, and might get 2 episodes in August if we're super-lucky.

I might be reading this as more aggresive than you're meaning it to sound, but...you...do realize you're getting to watch the content for free, right? As such, you can't exactly complain too much no matter how long it takes to get new stuff out. It'll be out when it's out.
