I don't think so. If he uses up a lot of his ki and his stamina gets low he has trouble regenerating, which would happen if he fights someone stronger than him.

Well, I think that when Whis said that Saiyans had the bad habit of considering people in terms of fighting level, he was saying to viewers "do not spend your days thinking about power levels, relax and just enjoy the show"...

Hoewer, I found strange that while base Cabba was able to fight base vegeta evenly (in Vegeta's words), SSJ3 Gotenks was not even capable to move BASE Copy-Vegeta by an inch (I guess authors decided to keep "secret" the fact Copy-Vegeta could transform and so prevented him from going ssj yellow against Gotenks... but that makes Gotenks appear ridicolous). And SS2 Future Trunks seems to do (a bit) more to SS2 Goku than what SSJ3 Gotenks did to base Copy-Vegeta...

So, how do really these power levels do in Super?
I think that Gotenks may be weaker than it was in Z due to lack of training of Goten and Trunks, but however I can't tell if he could beat Boo or not.
And then, if Universe 6 team (except Hit) could.

I think Boo will still be able to survive Frost's poison or perhaps no effect at all, especially Boo ate poisonous chocolate from Mr.Satan and had no effect on him.

He would beat Botamo. Not sure about Frost and Cabba. Magetta would beat Buu handily unless Buu throws insult. Hit one shots with a poke

Frost's poison may not hurt Buu, but he can still beat Buu. His 4th form would be strong enough to easily knock him out.

Probably beats Botamo. Definitely beats Cabba, as the kid wouldn't even be a SSJ against him. Frost is a toss-up. Loses against Magetta and Hit.

Then again, the power levels are horrifically out of wack. You'd imagine Cabba and Frost are leagues above SSJ3 and even Vegito level, but realistically, within the context of the story, it seems Vegeta and Goku were not utilizing god power. Even Piccolo drew enough power to fend off against Frost (albeit, barely).

One minute Base Goku can fight on par with Beerus. The other, Goku is depicted to be more or less the same level of strength as SSJ2 Trunks in his SSJ2 form.

Yay more "Where are base Goku and Vegeta?" confusion!

One base theory:

Buu loses horribly to everyone.

Two base theory:

I can see him beating Botamo by getting mad and pushing him off or something.
I have him above Frost so he wins there.
Buu has a tendency to insult, so he beats Magetta with ease.
He accidently kills Cabba and is disqualified from the tournament. If not, Hit knocks him out... even though he wouldn't have any pressure points or weak spots?

Hit wouldn't need to attack Boo's pressure points to dominate him. Boo gets hurt when someone far stronger pounds on him. Hit is way above suppressed Beers, who knocked Boo out.

Some of us have Frost above Super Saiyan 3 Goku based on the fact that he had an advantage over Base Goku.

So anything stronger than base Son is automatically stronger than SSJ3?

Pretty much. I see no reason to have Goku that absorbed the God Power and trained with Whis to be below his Super Saiyan 3 in the Boo saga. The form was shown to be nothing against Beers not using 10% of his power.

Goku put up a decent fight with him as a SSj. Goku is three years stronger than he was in ROF and Goku told Freeza in ROF that he didn't need to go SSj to fight him. Freeza mange to knock out a SSj2 tier person like Gohan in one punch in his first form after four months of training. Goku in the Champa saga is three years stronger than he was in ROF. If Goku has god ki absorb inside him then his base form is stronger than any form of Buu. Same goes with Vegeta seeing that he took out SSj3 Gotenks in his base form.

The first time the whole test thing was brought into the narrative, I found it odd why it was there, only to later see that it was an excuse to get Buu out of the picture.

I can totally see Buu end up getting himself disqualified on the ring for whatever reason though.

I don't know why people think the U6 fighters outside of Hit are so weak. Goku and Vegeta are so much stronger now thanks to their god ki inside them. I do think they are above SSj3 level.

Buu would stomp all apart from Hit.
Buu's regeneration and special abilities keep him in the fights.
Majin Vegeta had trouble with Buu because of his regeneration and so did Gohan.

Honestly, the universe 6 characters aren't even that strong.

That was four-five years ago in the DB timeline. Goku and Vegeta gotten way stronger in just a few years.
