Pan will become important in the future???

Post by Lujin_16 » Mon Jul 18, 2016 7:24 am

Everytime i see Pan it is something the writers are telling us that she has potential to become important in the future..

I think they have plans with her just like with Hit & Cabba...Hmm it is interesting to see which direction super goes in the future..

I love Baby Pan SO much more than Pan in DBGT. She's so cute and sweet! Still though, to answer your question, I also think Pan being built up to do something really important in DBS. Heck, I feel that with Gohan's (POSSIBLE) send-off episode last week, Pan might end up being to DBS what her dad, Gohan was to DBZ. Albeit WITHOUT needing to rage to utilize her powers, but still essentially have that close relationship to her grandfather like her dad did, and get focused on lot more.

I honestly hope they continue Goku/Pan relationship we saw in EOZ because that was adorable. I honestly hope that if Gohan is done for good, Panny becomes the new Gohan. Like you said she's already insanely strong and can fly all while laughing and playing, so with some training by Goku she'd easily become the most powerful female barring Vados

I hope Pan becomes an important character in the future, but it ultimately comes down to whether Toriyama or Toei give a fuck enough to experiment with her if Super goes beyond EOZ.

EOZ Pan was an awesome character too. Hopefully she turns out with that jolly personality.

If super goes beyond EoZ and they remember about Bra then those two can be like the new Goten and Trunks maybe.

Same here. DBGT gave Pan virtually NO development. That said, I REALLY hope they don't make her into the annoying, whiny little brat she became in DBGT. If Goku trains her right, she really could become the strongest female in the series aside from Vados.

At this point, I'd be amazed if they don't bring Super PAST EoZ. It looks like that might be the case VERY soon. There's NO way they're going to ignore everything that's happening in Super so far.

Also, I know this is a HUGE long shot, but for some reason, I was thinking that Beerus would be to Pan what Piccolo was to Gohan. A total jerk who becomes a better person by another's influence. What do you all think?

Minority here.

I hope Super gives us a GT-looking Pan. That is, that appearance. Of course, it'd have to go past EOZ for that, which I highly doubt.

Simply put, I hope she becomes important.

That's exactly what I expect. If they go and age everyone up, she and Bra will be the new pointless shenanigan characters. They'll get into the wacky hijinks, while Goten and Trunks maybe get into wacky dating hijinks. Actual importance will remain with Goku and likely Vegeta of course. If there is anything the series has hammered into our heads, it's that the next generation is shit. They are Generation Y.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Jeez, why does she need to be older to be important? She can start kicking ass now. Smack black in the face and send him to the moon for the giggles ^^

You never know with Super:
- Shenlong talked about the Namekian Book of Legends in BOG arc and it was never mentioned again.
- Gohan said he would get this shit together in ROF arc end, but in the last episode felt like he never said that.
- We got some build-up about Planet Salad and his king from Cabba, and yet we didn't even set foot in Universe 6.

I'm loving Baby Pan scenes, but i wouldn't think too much from it. I doubt we will ever go post-EOZ with Super.
It would be amazing if after Super ends, they have another show to take the timeslot and then one year later at least, they bring a new DB series to follow after EOZ called "Dragon Ball this time really Super". still with Toriyama involvement and not a rushed production.

Despiste all the production problems, it's already a miracle to have a new series after all this years, so I don't know if another miracle would happen again so soon.

It's obvious at this point Dragon Ball franchise will never die though.

I'm actually surprised how they didn't do a Dragon Ball Heroes anime spin-off, because Heroes is printing money over there for some years now.
Probably if Toriyama hadn't come back in BOG and Super wasn't a thing, they would end up going with that route.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.
