These complaints are kind of funny right now considering how we're in the middle of a Trunks focused arc. I can understand how there's some fear for the future, but it's not really a valid one at this point.

Given the same old trends re-occurring which is spurring a lot of these complaints since the start of Super, I understand people's frustrations.

Chapter 14 of Toyotaro's manga adaptation is out. I have a hard time believing that the chapter would leak, but not a film announcement in the same issue. So, it looks like we're not getting a new film this year, or at least it's not being announced via V-Jump if there is one (though I'm not holding my breath).

Can't say I'm surprised about no movie. It seemed as if Toei were already putting more resources into Super, and a movie would probably derail that quickly.

Do you guys think time flows differently in the other universes? Like one year spent in U6 is like a day spent in U7. This could be a loophole for them to keep on this postBuu preEoZ timeline.

We still have Weekly Shonen Jump.
And it's not like they are forced to follow the pattern and announce it in July. Hope is not lost yet.

There's only one more movie missing to make 20. It shall happen sooner or later.

The chapter leak isn't complete yet (Just half was shown) maybe there could be some announcement at the end of the chapter? That might be the reason the later half wasn't leaked too because it always leaks in full. (I think) They might be holding the second half back if there is some sort of announcement, because Toei would be upset at the early leak I'm guessing. Just wishful thinking

Toei doesn't have a word about the leaks, because they came from fans. It shouldn't even exist leaks in the first place (but thank god they do xD).
If a person gets the magazine earlier he/she can share whatever he/she wants, before any official announcement. There's no rules on Internet world.

I'd feel sketchy releasing a chapter in any language, but the leaker might be afraid to release such big news even in another language because big news sites usually quote the source of the leak. I hope it's the case anyways, I'd really like a new film

I definitely agree with what you're saying but for me, the work he did on the original and how it paved the way for my 2nd and 3rd favorite manga, One Piece and Naruto and other manga is enough for me to say he's a great writer even though I don't completely agree with what he's been doing lately.

It's like Frank Miller, no matter how many bad stories he writes, he'll always be looked at as a legend because of how great the dark knight returns is.

Except I personally HATE DKR. I'd call it the most overrated comic ever written. I like some of Frank Miller's other work but he should never touch Batman because he's horrible at it.
