Or most likely fans saw the NEP of and realised there nothing that was worth tuning in for, like has been the case for several other fluff episodes in Super, and decided to opt out watching the live broadcast of the episode and most likely take the option of recording it instead.namekiansaiyan wrote:That is what we will now call the Gohan effect.FortuneSSJ wrote:Whoah, that 5.0 is embarrassing. Japanese fans aren't ready to see Gohan's finale. They can't accept it or they just aren't interested.
Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
We still don't have the DVR ratings for Episode 49 yet? We should have the ones for Episode 50 by now.

This question comes all the time. Don't you have a recording box at home? Don't you have the option to record a airing series and the option to go back in the programing?Sodhi wrote:I dont get whats the difference between that and this http://www.tvguide.or.jp/ranking/timeshift_td. Time Recording is the option of saving the airing series! Timeshift is the option to go back in the programming!
Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Carefully inspecting the website that releases these DVR ratings (tvguide.or.jp), I found out they are not including reservation ratings on their ranking section. I'm not sure if they removed them from the list or if it was always like this (I used to access the ratings from a direct link), but this might be a sign that they do not release reservation ratings anymore, unfortunately.
Here's a screenshot from their website, which excludes reservation ratings from their ranking list:

In the past they had it appear in the menu, so it seems like they totally removed the reservation rankingsKonig wrote:Carefully inspecting the website that releases these DVR ratings (tvguide.or.jp), I found out they are not including reservation ratings on their ranking section. So that's where Naruto Shippuden has been hiding.
Series probably doesn't have all that long off anyway, I think they teased the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke. It might end this year.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
The Boruto manga did, yes, but it's a monthly series and only has 3 chapters right now. It's also starting off with an adaptation of the Boruto movie to get non-movie watchers up to speed (and is moving through it rather slowly despite chapters being 40+ pages), so it's going to be a long time before there's any actually new material coming out of it for Studio Pierrot to adapt.sangofe wrote:Didn't Buroto or something start?Bullza wrote:So that's where Naruto Shippuden has been hiding.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
This is getting more off topic but... Is naruto shippuden worth watching? I stopped in the early 30's because it moved so slowly.
Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
It seems it's been going up since the Future Trunks arc started....

Some of the fillers are really really bad but still Shippuden is definitely worth watching IMO.sangofe wrote:This is getting more off topic but... Is naruto shippuden worth watching? I stopped in the early 30's because it moved so slowly.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
I got scared when I didn't saw DBS in that ranking, until I remembered there wasn't a new episode.
Pretty low ratings overall.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Yeah, naruto is ending this year, I read somewhere that there are only 10 episodes left, don't know if it is real though.
Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Well from what I read the last canon episodes adapted up to Chapter 683 (of 700) and then there was a bunch of filler again but it is returning back to canon today actually.
So there's 17 more chapters worth to adapt. If there's no more filler it could probably end in October.
I wonder if they'll have a break and then do a third series where they'll do what they did with Super and turn The Last and Boruto the movie into full lenght arcs and the Gaiden manga too and even some of those Hiden books.
