I've played the playable demo of Xenoverse 2 at the Japan Expo 2016, and yeah I noticed that some people were able to use the Shunkan Idô Kamehameha, but after trying-hard to do it, I didn't even understand how they did that.

And even famous players of the DB Community, like Treevax (leader of the Dragon Ball Raging Blast 3 Project), or other French Youtubers DB Fans didn't know when I asked to them.

Maybe a particularity of Gokû (and his fusions ?) to mix a combination of keypads (it is the exact words to describe buttons of a remote home console ?) when using the Kamehameha technique.
English isn't my native Language, please be understanding with faults and other grammatical mistakes, and don't hesitate to correct me !

By any chance, can you comment on the A.I of the COM?

Wait, so it wasn't just a super/ultimate move?

You mean Instant transmission? It's the Z soul Goku has.

At least you can sort of make young looking female characters! It's impossible to make a young looking male saiyan or human because they always instead just look like a short adult.

Nope ! He only had "Kamehameha" as a super move, and the "Super Kamehameha" (and other) as ultimate move. No moves named "Instant Kamehameha" in his move pool. Take a look at his slots, no mention of a "Instant Kamehameha".
kbrooksgohan wrote:You mean Instant transmission? It's the Z soul Goku has.
Hum it's a possibility.
Z-soul are called in Xenoverse 2 "Super Souls" (to better match with the Dragon Ball Super already aired serie ?).
Maybe the Gokû's Super Soul is able to teleport him while doing a Kamehameha when it is activated.

Yeah, that's true. I wouldn't be able to make a male Kai if I tried.

Xenoverse 2 is on steam... But it seems that you can't pre-order it.

Sweet! ...Damn it!
Well, maybe they'll add a pre-order function later. At least it's there now.

If us PC users are gonna get fucked on the pre-order bonuses... I will have to write a very strongly worded letter and chuck it in the trash!

This is good. Hopefully the pre-order option is added on soon (and then extended to Gamestop so I can pick up the Deluxe Edition through them).

I hope it was the Z soul that let Goku do that, it would be great if Z souls expanded beyond just modifying stats, health and ki.

Also I should note that with good timing, you could use instant transmission then cancel the reentry into a kamehameha which was pretty epic.

That's kind of a problem that doesn't make sense to me. They even gave female Saiyans Kid Gohan's hairstyle. They knew you'd have to gender swap to have a young looking character that might be similar in appearance to one already established.

No I'm 100% positive. I did the research. I've watched many videos and I know how it works. It's when he transforms and charges the kamehameha. If you do it without transforming it doesn't activate.

It gets annoying when all you wanna do is just do a small single fight.
I'm with you on being sick to death of spawning so far from any point of interest, but I'm not necessarily in favor of having a strict menu to navigate through. Yeah, you could give the option of using either a strict menu or hub world, but given the option... who would use the hub world? You would have to provide the player reasons to run around in the city, in direct contrast to efficiently pressing a few buttons. Too divisive. The city should be a huge draw to the Xenoverse brand.
They should really add a local Quick-Travel Option (instant Transmission) to an overworld map like in the Bethesda games.
Zephyr wrote:The fandom's collective fetishizing of "moments" is also ridiculous to me. No, not everyone needs a fucking "shine" moment. If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.
