If Trunks becomes SSB then Goku and Vegeta will be redundant and Trunks won't need help anymore.

Trunks won't reach SSGSS. If they showed SSP Black in then they would have likely leaked SSGSS Trunks too.

That is not really good evidence but I definitely think Trunks will not reach SSB.

There's only one Trunks card in that set, they chose to go with base form. If that had any bearing on things Vegeta would be going back to his F outfit and Goku would be using regular God.
I don't know why people think Trunks won't get the form, if anything based on how Dragon Ball plots progress it should be expected that he gets it. Blue is no more special a transformation than any other, it just takes very specific training.

SSJ Blue Future Trunks is inevitable. We'll get it sooner or later, whether it's this arc or another one.

Hopefully EP53 doesn't let us down with Zamasu. I've mentioned it before; I'm really looking forward to his appearance.

Yeah, they won't become redundant. They weren't during the Cell arc when everyone was super saiyan. As long as Black is stronger than a regular ssb it's fine. I just don't see vegeta training him without Trunks getting a new form.

I would love to see Vegeta teach Trunks how to obtain SSJB, hopefully with a good explanation to the form intricacies. I would need some time to accept this power up as earned, if we're not offered a decent explanation.
I guess the RoSaT is an acceptable method. Although if Vegeta keeps using it, he'll be an old Saiyan soon.

Hopefully whatever is the path, it's well done. I don't want another Freeza power up. This also might give further support to how Vegeta got the form by training with Whis.

Crackpot theory : Saiyans. It turns out that saiyans are actually an evolved race from the future, which explains why they're so talented compared to the other "ancient" races like namekians and earthlings. In u7 they went unchecked, but in u6 they were forced to become the "heroes" of the universe to pay for their time travel crimes. Saiyans get smaller as they evolve and grow stronger. They started off as the Babari race, then grest apes, then saiyans with big muscles, then slim down. Goten has reached the final evolution due to the intense training he's been doing secretly

The Z fighters, so there is not just Goku black but other Black characters.

How about the only people that can beat the Black characters are the original characters, as they don't have a resistance against them but the only downside is as the original fighters battle the Black characters, the Black characters get stronger due to them fighting the original.
That sounds a bit crazy but could work.
