I was gonna mention the sheath and sword, but I felt it didn't necessarily complete the outfit.
A Future Trunks outfit just feels incomplete without his trademark sheath and sword.

When Beerus told him to be quiet it seemed like Goku was a kid and Beerus was his dad le something like that, it was like how Luffy is portrayed, but Goku is Goku, not Luffy 2.0.
I feel like they didn't want him to be a hero again , so they went way to far in the opposite direction. Wouldn't be surprised if Toriyama prefers it that way though

I'm afraid this might be the truth.

FWIW I don't find the behavior of Goku to be that bad with English subs. Without knowing what he is saying he just looks like an idiot...but with words I tend to find it funny how he's obviously trying to be his best "respectful" self in the presence of Gods while still pushing for a battle.

A man who creates a universe where dragons are real and grant wishes and also exist men who can change the colour of their hair by just getting angry is pretty insane.
Talking seriously, when was the last time he acted like a hyperactive kid in the manga? I think never, also Toriyama is working more with Toyotarou so I'm pretty sure that Toei is the one responsible of Goku's behaviour in the anime.

Toyatoro's been writing Goku in the manga just fine. The way he's acting there is a nice balance of playful and normal. I feel think that the writers at Toei were told to make Goku a little less serious, but for some reason a lot of them decided to turn that up to 11.

I agree. I understand Goku loves to fight powerful new opponents; I just wish he didn't across as too childish. Yes, I know it's Goku's character within the series but I wish he could come across as more mature. Comedy is good. Just don't over do it.

Off-topic, but since when does Pokemon have battles like this?

That put every fight in Super to shame. lol.
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super

I don't mean to offend anyone, but the Goten being Black theory has to be the dumbest theory the community has come up with in all of Dragon Ball history. I don't even have to explain why its so retarded.

The fandom is basically DBZ + GT or DBZ + Super. lol. Why couldn't we get another masterpiece like DBZ? T.T It's like GT fans vs Super fans, whereas both set of fans still consider Z the best. xD Or you get some fans who love both GT and Super.

Not only does it make Super look worse than it already is, it'll make it harder for Super's apologists to defend it cause it's also on a weekly schedule so they can't use that excuse anymore.

To answer your question, the studio working on Pokemon has competent workers who can do what they're hired for and higher ups who care about their image and the product the send out the door.

I'm on the DB + DBZ side cause both GT&Super aren't qualified to be put next to the legendary Z(Or Kai).

Because Toei don't care about their name or the franchise.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Toei produce more than just Dragon Ball anime, they seen to care in those shows.
If Toei didn´t care about the franchise, they wouldn´t be assigning more animation supervisors to SUPER than they did with either BD or DBZ.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

That doesn't excuse its below average quality.

They didn't need to because the people working on them knew what they were doing unlike the people working on Super who according to Toei are newbies.

There are veterams/not newbies among the animators of DBSuper. Just look at their profiles, they have worked in a decent amonunt of shows.

Takeo Ide: Animator´s Corner profile
Miyako Tsuji: Animator´s Corner profile, ANN Profile
Ishikawa Osamu: Animator´s Corner profile, ANN Profile
Yukihiro Kitano: Animator´s Corner profile, ANN Profile
Yoshitaka Yashima: Animator´s Corner Profile, ANN Profile
Toma Seizo: Animator´s Corner Profile, ANN Profile

It's not just about weekly schedules. It's about the incredibly low levels of pre production also.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

The Pokémon anime changed some of its staff and that's the result. The team behind it is full of people who understand the Pokémon brand and the result is a high quality series. Even the writing has improved.

The schedule and pre-production is a huge factor too, since there are episodes with just one key animator (https://sakuga.yshi.org/post?page=2&tags=aito_ohashi). The guy is crazy good too.

Besides a few decent animators, Super lacks all of that.

Barring Oohashi and two other animators the core and best staff of Pokemon has been the same since day one.
