Definitely getting laziness vibes right now. Semi-Cell (2nd form if you will) and 2nd/3rd form Freeza aren't in the game, then, I bet. Makes me worried about Buu's absorptions, too.

Was the exclusion of 2nd/3rd form Freeza confirmed for Xenoverse 2? Or are we just basing that assumption on the fact that those forms weren't in the first game?

I think she's basing it on the fact that they seem to be skipping second form cell.

That I am, yes. The absorption picture is implying, at least in my eyes, that those 'intermediate' forms are being skipped. Hopefully it's only a skip in story mode, meaning that the forms are still available in the roster (example in the first game is Vegetto), but I don't really expect that.

Forget forms, what about characters? They seem to be skipping Garlic Jr, Dr. Wheelo, etc. At least so far, putting into consideration that Slug and Turles are in the Saiyan AND Namek Sagas.

It's not exactly confirmed. It's probably just for that timeline. I wouldn't be surprised if it's true however we should wait it out. I know they know we want the other forms....

Well, not in the best manners, but he is clearly referring to the leaks, spoilers and theories about who is and who isn't in the game, topics treated in previous posts. I prefer to avoid spoilers and discover details as I play the game, for that matter. Spoilers are not only for movies.

I'm annoyed that they are skipping 2nd stage cell but at least we get some new take on the story out of it. I hope they just make it more interesting than towa powered up cell has the power to knock them both out...

Maybe in xenoverse 3 well get more characters. It looks like well be lucky to get 20 new ones here

Knowing what characters are in the game isn't something that will ruin the experience, sir. I really want to know who is in the game for sure because of the last game left a lot of canonical characters.

Story-wise, I don't want any spoilers though. Characters, by all means, YES!

I do want to know what characters will be in the game too, I almost bought Xenoverse 1 but knowing that a lot would be missed, I let it go thinking about the next one (that I was sure XV2 would be real!). And I don't regret, XV2 is, by all mean, better than its predecessor. I can't miss it, I need XV2.
