Super Saiyan Rose? This just keeps getting better and better.

Yes! Black could use Caroni's beautiful rose attack against our heroes. It would be a fitting match.

If they're real I doubt this is the end of the arc so hopefully there will be plenty of chances for Trunks and Vegeta to get some fights.

Tired of SSJ forms being named after a color, wish they'd be more original. I still prefer SSGSSJ over Super Saiyan Blue.
Also, Black's not a saiyan, so he shouldn't be called Super Saiyan Rose. Rather he just be called Rose Black or something.

Should've been more specific. The flower came first so shouldn't it be considered more of a flower than a color?

A lot of colors work like that. The word orange was originally exclusive to the fruit, with the color later being named after said fruit. Doesn't make them any less of a color.

Not to mention the word rose is just French for pink.

I assumed it came from 'rose', the french word for 'pink' (or the flower).

And what's so bad about naming the forms after colors? Using numbers isn't any more creative.

I'm starting to feel like people are looking for reasons to be upset at the show.

Animation and writing is one thing, but are color and names really that bad?

Is this not the same series where people are named after underwear?

Is it the creative aspect? Because no one seems to care that SSJ1 and 2 look so much alike that some still have a hard time telling the difference, even today.

Edit: For that matter I've ever liked the forms being named after numbers either. I always thought it was dumb. But that shouldn't really be a reason I should hate it.

Colors don't have any meaning, unless you give it one based on your stereotypes/culture.
Wait to see what the show actually implies, or if it's just a bloody color.

I understand if you don't like the color and thus don't like the transformation but I don't get not liking the fact that it's a recolor. It's literally the same transformation with different ki. No wonder it's just a color change. They aren't new transformations

I didn't say you couldn't be mad. If you don't like it that's cool. But I find the outrage over the top for something seemingly insignificant (and barely even confirmed to be an actual thing) . What form would you rather see that would make you happy that doesn't cross over into "lazy" or "fan fiction" ?

I'm curious how they're going to differentiate it from ssjblue in the manga. All these recent versions of ssj are made with the tv series (or movies) in mind first.
