"Dragon Ball Fusions" Official Discussion Thread

Just beat the game. Overall great experience and even after you beat the game you have a crap load of characters to unlock/side quests and barriers to break. Shame I can't fuse some characters with what I want in this game, but not that big of a deal.

Also Gorus (Goku+Beerus) really helped a lot during segments where I could have lost boss battles. Probably the strongest character in my roster currently.

That sounds great, it sounds like my experience with the game will be good then! Just wondering: Is there any point to the online modes?

No, only street pass stuff. You make your player card and if anyone else has the game you can gain their custom character as well as fuse with them if you wish.

I had a lot of people asking me that on the first 10 or so parts I recorded on ShonenGameZ. Not sure if online would work well with how this game plays.

Power > Technique
Technique > Speed
Speed > Power.

I guess it's more of compatibility, but I don't think it's by type. More like you can only fuse with the characters that the developers say you can. You have more wiggle room I believe with your own character to fuse with a lot of people.

The far right one looks sort of like Basaku from Heroes. I'm assuming him and the one on his left are fused from generic or created characters?

I can't see anything. If Golden Freeza and Metal Coola are in the game, do they become Bronze Fridge ?

I haven't seen those specific characters, but there was a picture with a similar layout and the characters shown there were fusions of generic enemies (that apparently can be recruited somehow).

Yes, although I don't remember where. They said there's currently no plans for it.

I wouldn't be surprised if the sales of EB were low for Bandai Namco standards and made it so that they're iffy on bringing Fusions to the west.
