Sparking! NEO Help Needed

Post by Thanos » Fri Mar 09, 2007 12:12 am

Okay, I have the American version of Sparking! NEO. Everything seems good with the Japanese voices on. Except, of course, the music. Would someone (anyone :() explain, in lamen-terms, step-by-step, how I can get in there and replace the BGMs? I've already got the mp3s of the original music, I just need to know what I need to make that happen. Help me!

Do you even have any idea what you're asking?

Sooo, the music is different? Thought that was only the opening.

Yeah, the Japanese version of the game has the actual BGM from the series! I think you want to know how to rip the game, replace the music, and reburn. Am I right?

Unfortunately I can't help you there... But that is surely what he means.

Go to the HCTP FAQs on Gamefaqs, there is a specific one for music replacement.
Jord doesn't have a avatar because the combination of Jord and a equally cool avatar would cause the universe to implode.

There's an actual way to change the music on your games? If so, I'd love to try it! :)

For what it's worth, while Sparking! NEO/Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is intended to be played like you're in the series (hence the original BGM in the JP version), I love the new music we get. It's very upbeat, catchy, and good enough that I've found myself listening to the tracks in the music playing area simply to enjoy them. If a CD is ever released with these tracks, you can count me in getting it. That's how much I like it. If I wanna listen to the Japanese BGM, I'll pop in a DVD and give it a whirl with the actual anime.

I already know this, and I've already formed my opinion. While I actually do like the new tracks myself (Electric Gravity is in my playlist), it just doesn't seem right. Atari has a lot of nerve trying to reinvent it without regard for the original intent and way it was meant to be played.
