It says 超サイヤ人ロゼ in the Episode 56 title. Sūpā Saiya-jin Roze. As far as I've understood it, it's like this: In Japanese you can "ignore" u's (that's how you get Buruma to become Bulma), but you can't ignore e's. If you want to say Rose, you use Rozu (as it's pronounced "ro-s" in English), and if you want to say Rosé, you use Roze (as it's pronounced "ro-say" in English). Someone who actually knows Japanese should be able to explain this much better than me (or correct me), though.

Pretty much on the money, I think.

Japanese is phonetic, so you just read what each bit of kana represents.

ロ - Ro
ゼ - Ze

Rose would be ローズ - Rōzu, which as you said, if you subtly drop the u, you end up with the English word.

Having a big plot episode with King Ryû writing on the one weekend where me catching it live will be kinda dicey is challenging. Still gonna try anyway; that's all I can do. Hopefully it's late enough into the event that I can slip out somewhere to watch.

Good point. It basically feels like the Golden Freeza battle but this time without the fallback on Beerus and Whis. Should feel a lot more tense.

Or it may get disturbed again by some incident or something like the last time. If Goku in SSJB form gets defeated by SSJR Black then they're fcked. Then again he and Vegeta can always do the fusion dance.

So with Trunk's recent declaration about surpassing Black and Vegeta. do we think there will be a time skip of sorts in episode 55 wherein Trunks has been training?

Or is he going to the future still as a SS2?

Since Trunks has made that vow I have faith that he will eventually achieve SSB level strength.

Even if it were a Toei addition like with Gohan's vow with training, Trunks is popular enough that they would act on it.

A lack of timeskip oddly makes me feel that something will happen to Goku/Vegeta in the future.

Trunks has to come through on his promise.

In an ideal situation Future Trunks needs to become a god after narrowly escaping the future again. He lines up gohan, goten, Trunks and pan to do the ritual. but they need another. Bulma steps forward(Bra).

Goku Black should use his time ring to sap Goku and Vegeta back to the present when he's nearly lost. That would leave him and Future Trunks alone, with the latter going SSJB, to Black's surprise.
