Ok let's put this into real world terms.

If I'm a detective and I have the opportunity to stop a KNOWN serial killer, and I let him escape into the wild because I want a good challenge later on what does that make me to all the people he slaughters along the way?
Vegeta was headed to Namek to basically slaughter everyone in the planet if he had to to get the dragonballs but I want a good challenge so those people can die for all I care.... I'm not sure what you would call that?

Naïve, reckless, immoral, self-destructive. How is that in anyone's self interest? Self interest doesn't mean whatever one feels in the moment. If you go with the conventional view, you'd be lumping in the killer like Vegeta with the honest businessman who is in business to earn a profit.

I'm not following your reasoning from known planet destroying serial killer threat to honest businessman making a profit.

This is beyond naive, you acknowledge this guy is going to kill other people, but you want to have some fun hunting him down. If i release a wild man eating tiger into a village because it going to be fun to hunt him down at the expense of others lives I'm not sure how that doesn't qualify as being a gross human being?

I don't know how else to say it, the serial killer and the man out for a profit aren't the same, but supposedly they are both in it for themselves, so let's lump them both under the concept "selfish".

And no, I never EVER said it's good or fun, nor do I want to have fun hunting him down again. Where in the world did you get that from anything I wrote? I think it would be better if we made this philosophical discussion private.
